Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with making my own EA FC 24 card design. This was actually my first time trying this out, so it was a bit of a learning curve, but it turned out to be a fun little project.
I started by looking around online to see what other people were doing. I saw a lot of cool designs and wanted to figure out how they were getting those neat effects that kind of pop off the card. I spent a good chunk of time just experimenting with different tools and settings.

Experimenting with the tools
- Played with layers: I started messing with layers to get a feel for how to separate elements. It took a while to get the hang of it, but it made a big difference in organizing the design.
- Tried different brushes: There are so many brushes to choose from, and each one creates a different effect. I spent time just doodling with them to see what I could come up with.
- Adjusted colors: Getting the colors right was important. I wanted something that looked good but wasn’t too distracting. I kept tweaking the color settings until I found a combination that I liked.
After a lot of trial and error, I finally started to get the hang of it. I figured out how to create some basic effects and how to layer them in a way that looked decent. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a good start. I spent a couple of hours experimenting and making adjustments, just trying to make it look right.
Whether you’re diving into Career Mode, mastering Ultimate Team, or refining your tactics in various club competitions, having a custom card design adds a personal touch. It makes the game more fun when you see your own creations in action.
By the end of the day, I had something that I was pretty happy with. It was cool to see my own design come to life. It wasn’t as polished as some of the designs I saw online, but it was mine, and that made it special. I’m definitely going to keep practicing and trying new things. If any of you have tips or tricks for making these kinds of designs, I’d love to hear them. It’s always great to learn from others and get better at this stuff.
