What a wild ride this year has been with League of Legends! I’ve been grinding through the splits, and let me tell you, it’s been a real rollercoaster. So, the ranked system this year is chopped up into three parts, which I think is pretty cool because it keeps things fresh.
I remember when the first split started, I was all hyped up, ready to climb the ladder. Played a ton of games, some wins, some losses, you know how it goes. It’s a grind, but I actually enjoy it. Anyway, throughout this split, I earned some sweet rewards just by playing. The big prize at the end of this first split was Victorious Kog’Maw. It was pretty rewarding to see my efforts result in this cool skin.

Here’s a breakdown of my ranked journey so far:
- Split 1: This one was all about getting back into the groove. I focused on improving my gameplay and getting those wins. And yeah, I got that awesome Kog’Maw skin, which was a nice bonus.
Then came Split 2. I started on September 25th, right when it kicked off. I set some new goals, tried out some new champions, and kept pushing. It’s funny how each split feels like a fresh start, even though it’s all part of the same season. We’re all in the same boat, trying to climb, and it’s a mix of frustration and excitement. With the launch of patch 14.19, I found some new strategies that really helped me up my game.
- Split 2: This was the grind-heavy split. Lots of ups and downs, but I managed to make some progress. I started experimenting with different roles, which was a fun challenge.
Now, I’m gearing up for Split 3. It’s wild to think that Split 3 is already coming up, ending in January 8th next year. Time flies when you’re having fun, right? I’m planning to keep the momentum going and hopefully reach a higher rank by the end of the year.
- Split 3: I started it right after split 2. This is where I’m hoping to make a big push and hit my rank goal for the year. I’ve been watching some pro players and trying to learn from their strategies.
Throughout all of this, I’ve been keeping track of my progress and trying to learn from my mistakes. It’s not just about winning games, it’s about getting better as a player. And the thing about League is, there’s always something new to learn, some new strategy to try out.
So yeah, that’s my League of Legends journey so far this year. It’s been a blast, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year brings. I am always eager to share more of my future games.
