Alright, today I want to talk about finding those Whopperflowers in Genshin Impact. This was a bit of a journey, so let’s get into it.
First off, I started my hunt in the Galesong Hill area. I remembered someone saying they had luck near the Forsaken Rift Domain, so that’s where I headed first. To be honest, it was pretty smooth sailing there.

When I got there, I tried something I read online. I used Amber’s Baron Bunny to get the Whopperflowers’ attention, then I switched to the Traveler or Kaeya and did charged attacks, aiming towards some nearby water. Guess what? It worked! Those Whopperflowers just drowned as soon as they were in too deep. Easy peasy.
After that little victory, I moved on past a group of three Fatui Skirmishers. I kept going until I hit this spot called the Circle of Sweet Flowers. There were six flowers there, but only three of them were actually Whopperflowers. I found one Pyro, one Cryo, and one Electro one. It took a little bit of fighting, but nothing too crazy.
- Use Baron Bunny to distract.
- Charge attack with Traveler or Kaeya.
- Aim towards the water to drown them.
Now, I also heard a rumor that there were some Whopperflowers in Fontaine, specifically in the Beryl Region. So, naturally, I went to check it out. I found the area, northeast of some airplane puzzle and south of a teleport point, which itself was south of a lake with boiling water. I’ve got to say, Fontaine has some weird spots! The environment in this area is quite special, with unique challenges and puzzles. You have to be extra careful not to fall into the boiling water, as it can really hurt your characters.
I explored the area thoroughly and found a few more Whopperflowers hiding around. It’s a good idea to use elemental sight to scan the area, as it helps you spot them among the regular plants. Defeating them here was not much different from before. I continued to use a combination of long-range attacks and quick melee strikes to take them down efficiently.
My Key Takeaways
- Galesong Hill is a good starting point.
- Using water to your advantage is a game-changer.
- Fontaine has some hidden spots worth exploring.
So yeah, that’s my experience hunting down Whopperflowers. It’s a bit of a grind, but using these tips definitely made things easier. Hope this helps someone out there!
