Hey there, young folk. Today, we’re talkin’ ‘bout somethin’ I heard the grandkids go on and on about, it’s this game called Apex Legends. Now, I don’t know much ‘bout them fancy video games, but I reckon I can tell ya somethin’ useful about pickin’ them characters, or as they call it, the apex pick.
Now, when you play this here game, there’s all kinds of characters you can choose. Some folks call ‘em Legends. They say which one you pick can change how good you do in the game. Ain’t that somethin’? I thought it’s all ‘bout how fast you move your fingers, but nah, there’s some thinkin’ involved. The strong Legends get picked more often, and the game calls it pick rates.
From what I hear, there’s this fella named Fuse. He’s mighty popular these days. Seems in this new season, folks are all about using him. Don’t ask me what he does exactly, but if lots of people pick him, he must be good. In fact, they say his pick rate is one of the highest in Season 20 or somethin’ like that. Now, I reckon, if you’re lookin’ for a strong choice, maybe ol’ Fuse is your guy.
But here’s the thing, just ‘cause lots of folks pick someone, don’t mean he’s right for you. Ain’t that the truth with life? What works for one might not work for another. You gotta figure out who suits how you play. I hear there’s a lotta other Legends too. Like, there’s some speedy ones, and some sneaky ones, and even ones who can heal themselves up. It’s all about how you like to play, I reckon.
They even got new Legends comin’ out all the time. You can go and unlock ‘em from the store. Now, I don’t know ‘bout y’all, but back in my day, we ain’t had no stores where you could buy special fighters, but I guess times change. Anyways, if you want one of them new Legends, it’s gonna cost you. Either you spend what they call in-game money, or you fork over some real cash. But, if you like shiny new things, that’s your call.
Season 21 is here, and things are changin’ again. They always seem to be addin’ new stuff to keep folks interested. I heard they got some new Legends, but don’t ask me their names, my memory ain’t what it used to be. But, ya might want to keep an eye out for who’s popular this season too. From what folks say, the pick rates give ya a good idea of who’s strong and who ain’t. It’s kinda like when we used to pick teams for a game of ball back in the day – ya always want the strong ones on your side!
And hey, if you’re just startin’ out, don’t be too worried ‘bout pickin’ the most popular Legend. Sometimes it’s best to just try ‘em all and see which one fits ya best. The game’s ‘bout havin’ fun, ain’t it? Don’t matter if you win or lose, as long as you’re enjoyin’ yourself. Though, from what I hear, winnin’ sure makes the whole thing sweeter!
