Okay, here is my sharing about “Stratroulette”.
So the other day, I was browsing online and stumbled upon this thing called “Stratroulette.” It’s basically a random strategy caller for games. I was like, “What the hell is this?” I’m always up for trying something new to spice up my gaming sessions, so I decided to give it a shot.

I remember years ago I started playing Strat Roulette in Counter-Strike: Source, after Global Offensive. So I dug around and found a bunch of websites and even some GitHub pages dedicated to this. The idea is pretty simple: instead of using the same old strategies every time, you let this thing generate a random, sometimes crazy, strategy for you and your team to follow.
Getting Started
First, I had to choose a website. There are a bunch of them out there, and honestly, they all looked pretty much the same to me. I just picked one that had a clean interface and seemed easy to use. Once I was on the site, I saw that you could select the game you’re playing. They had options for a bunch of popular games, but I was mainly interested in Counter-Strike.
Choosing the Game and Map
I selected Counter-Strike: Global Offensive from the list. Then, you gotta pick the map you’re playing on. I went with Dust 2, because why not? It’s a classic. After that, the website gave me a list of random strategies. Some of them were pretty wild, like “Regardless of team, play normally but when you see an enemy, do a 360-degree turn before shooting.” I mean, come on, who thinks of this stuff?
Implementing the Strategies
- Getting the Team Onboard: The hardest part was probably convincing my buddies to go along with this. They were like, “Dude, are you serious? We’re gonna lose for sure.” But after some convincing (and maybe a little bit of peer pressure), they agreed to try it out.
- First Round: Our first strategy was to rush B site every round, no matter what. It was a disaster. We got mowed down so many times. It was hilarious, though. We were all laughing our asses off, even though we were getting destroyed.
- Mixing It Up: We tried a few more strategies. Some were a bit more reasonable, like “Only use shotguns” or “No stopping once you start moving.” It was a mixed bag. Sometimes we’d actually do okay, but most of the time, it was just chaos.
The Outcome
Did we win any games? Hell no. But did we have a blast? Absolutely. It was one of the most fun gaming sessions I’ve had in a while. We were all just goofing around, trying out these ridiculous strategies, and not taking anything too seriously. It was a great reminder that sometimes, it’s okay to just have fun and not worry about winning or losing.
In the end, I realized that Stratroulette is not about winning. It’s about breaking the monotony, trying something new, and having a good laugh with your friends. If you’re looking for a way to spice up your gaming sessions, I highly recommend giving it a try. Just don’t expect to climb the ranks or anything. But hey who knows? Maybe you’ll discover some hidden genius in these crazy strategies.
