Alright, let me tell you about this experience I had with Marvel Snap. I was messing around with this card, Dazzler, trying to see if I could make it work in a deck.
So, Dazzler’s whole deal is that she gets stronger for every location that’s full on your side. Sounds pretty cool, right? It is 2 energy and 2 power, and has the effect: Ongoing: +2 Power for each location that’s full on your side.

I started by reading up on her a bit. Found out she’s a Series 3 card, which honestly doesn’t mean much to me since I’m not super deep into the competitive scene. I just like trying out different cards and seeing what happens.
First thing I noticed, this card is all about getting those locations filled up. I tried slotting her into a deck with cards that could generate more cards or move them around. The idea was to fill up spots quickly and get Dazzler’s power up.
- Experiment 1: I put Dazzler in a deck with things like, I don’t know, cards that make little dudes, you know? And some others that can kind of copy themselves. It was ok but it can fill all of your locations and develop additional power across the board. I remember one time I managed to fill all three locations and Dazzler was buffed, she was a beast! But most of the time, it was hard to pull off.
- Experiment 2: I figured maybe I needed a different approach. So I tried pairing Dazzler with, what’s his name, that big robot guy, oh yeah, Ultron! His ability to fill up the board with those drones seemed like a perfect match. This worked better. Getting those drones out there, then dropping Dazzler was pretty satisfying.
I messed around with some other cards, like this one dude, Mister Sinister, that makes a copy of himself. That was alright, but not as consistent as the Ultron combo. Also tried her with that bug swarm deck, the one with the Brood and Silver Surfer, but that didn’t really pan out. It was like, too many things going on, you know?
Conclusion Time
So, after all that, what did I learn about Dazzler? Well, she’s definitely a card that needs a specific deck built around her. You can’t just throw her in anywhere and expect results. When it works, it’s great. Getting those locations filled and seeing Dazzler go from a little 2-power card to something really strong is fun. But it takes some work to set up. She’s probably not the best card out there, but I had a good time figuring her out. And if you play it on turn 4, you may not have enough time to play Mysterio on turn 6. Might be something to keep in mind.
Anyway, that’s my Dazzler story. If you’ve got any cool ideas for using her, let me know. I’m always up for trying something new in Marvel Snap!
