Today, I tried a game, it’s a card game, the name is “marvel snap”. I kinda got hooked on this deck centered around “Death”. It’s pretty wild how it works. Basically, the more cards get destroyed during the game, the cheaper Death gets. It’s like, she starts off costing a lot of energy, but by the end, you might even be able to play her for free if you play it right.
My Journey
So, I started messing around with different cards that would help me destroy other cards. You know, to make Death cheaper. I was trying out all sorts of combinations.

- First, I threw in Nova. That guy’s cool because when he gets destroyed, he gives all your other cards a power boost. It’s like, a win-win. You get to lower Death’s cost and make your other cards stronger at the same time.
- Then I started using Mister Sinister. He is great! He’s got a neat trick where he makes a clone of himself when you play him. Now, here’s the kicker: if you destroy Mister Sinister, the clone doesn’t die. It sticks around. So, you can destroy Mister Sinister, lower Death’s cost, and still have that clone on the board. Nice, right?
I played a bunch of games, trying different strategies. Sometimes I’d focus on destroying as many cards as possible, other times I’d try to balance it out with other powerful cards. The Death card, man, she’s got some wild variations, too. Like, there’s this one that looks like a mecha, and another one that’s all pixelated. It’s pretty cool to see all the different artwork.
One game, I managed to get Death down to zero cost! I had destroyed so many cards throughout the game that she was practically free to play. It felt amazing to drop her on the board and just dominate. Six power for 2 energy is really a bargain.
I’ve been really digging this “Death” deck. It’s got a fun, strategic element to it, and it’s satisfying to see all the pieces come together. I’m still experimenting with different card combinations, but I’m definitely going to keep playing with it. If you are looking for a new strategy, maybe give this one a shot. It’s a blast!
