Okay, so I’ve been playing Pokemon GO for a while now, and I’ve always wanted a really strong Typhlosion. I finally decided to buckle down and figure out the best way to get one with some killer moves.
I started by doing some digging online. It turns out there was this Cyndaquil Community Day Classic event. The event was on June 22, 2024. Apparently, if you evolved a Quilava during this event, you could get a Typhlosion that knew the special move Blast Burn. I’m not sure if it’s still going on, so I just grabbed one of my Quilava and started walking around, hoping for the best.

I was initially hoping to evolve during the event to get Blast Burn. Since I’m not sure if the event is still going on, I used a regular Charged TM to see what I could get. I used up a few of those, but I kept getting moves I didn’t want. I realized I needed an Elite Charged TM to get Blast Burn, and those things are hard to come by!
After grinding for a while, I finally managed to get an Elite Charged TM. I used it on my Typhlosion, and boom! Blast Burn! I was so stoked. From what I’ve read, it seems like the best fast attack for Typhlosion is Incinerate, so I made sure to get that one too. It took a few more TMs, but I got it!
So, now I have a Typhlosion with Incinerate and Blast Burn. Let me tell you, this thing is a beast in battles! I’ve been using it in raids and against other players, and it just melts through opponents. It has been a long and hard journey!
Here’s what I did to get my powerful Typhlosion:
- Got a Quilava: First, I needed a Quilava to evolve. I already had a few from catching Cyndaquil.
- Tried to Evolve During the Event: I was hoping to evolve it during a special event to get Blast Burn, but I’m not sure if I did it in time.
- Used an Elite Charged TM: This was the key to getting Blast Burn. Regular Charged TMs won’t work.
- Got Incinerate: I used a few regular Fast TMs to get the Incinerate fast attack.
If you’re trying to get a strong Typhlosion, this is the way to do it. It takes some effort, but it’s totally worth it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go wreck some gyms with my awesome Typhlosion!
