Alright, so let’s talk about this game I’ve been hooked on lately – Marvel Snap. I really like collecting those cards, you know? I figured I’d share my experience with you guys, might be helpful if you’re just getting started or looking for some new ideas.
First off, I downloaded the game like everyone else. I started playing, and man, it’s addictive. You get thrown into matches pretty quick, and before you know it, you’re trying to outsmart your opponent with these awesome Marvel characters.

The whole point is to win locations on the board, right? Each location has different effects, and your cards have their own powers. It’s like a mix of strategy and luck, and that’s what makes it so fun. I spent a good chunk of time just learning the basics, figuring out what each card does.
My Card Collection Journey
Then came the collecting part. I noticed there are tons of cards to unlock, each with different variants and artwork. It’s a completionist’s dream, or nightmare, depending on how you look at it. I focused on getting cards that fit my playstyle, which is mostly about buffing up my other cards and disrupting my opponent. I just like that playstyle.
- I started grinding through missions and daily challenges.
- I saved up my credits and gold, being careful not to spend them too quickly.
- I paid attention to the shop, where you can buy specific cards.
One thing I quickly learned is that you gotta be patient. Some cards are harder to get than others. And sometimes, you just get unlucky with the random card unlocks. I got a lot of Pixel variants at the beginning. Not gonna lie, it was frustrating at times, but I kept going. I mean the films/shows is not good enough, but it’s still Marvel, right?
After a while, I started putting together some decent decks. I experimented with different combinations, trying to find what worked best for me. There’s a lot of information online about the best Marvel Snap Collector decks, but honestly, I think it’s more fun to figure it out yourself. I searched for some basic info about MCU. Did you know that MCU means Major Crimes Unit and also means Earth-199999(Earth-616)? I think these are so cool.
Now, I’m not saying I’m a pro or anything, but I’ve definitely improved since I started. I’ve got a pretty solid collection now, and I’m still having a blast playing. If you’re into card games and Marvel, you should definitely check it out.
So yeah, that’s my Marvel Snap story so far. It’s a fun game. I just like the feeling of collecting those cards. Hope you enjoyed this little ramble. Maybe I’ll share some more about my specific decks later on. Catch you guys in the next one!
