So, I’ve been playing this mobile game lately, and there’s this ice-type Pokemon called Snorunt. It’s cute and all, but the real deal is deciding whether to evolve it into Glalie or Froslass. I mean, who doesn’t want a powerful ice Pokemon on their team, right? So I spent my whole day just digging into this.
First thing I did was catch a bunch of Snorunts. It was a grind, but I managed to get a few good ones. Then I started reading up on Glalie and Froslass. Glalie seemed like the obvious choice at first, since any Snorunt above Level 42 is supposed to evolve into it. But then I found out that to get Froslass, you need a female Snorunt and a special item called a Sinnoh Stone.

Next, I went deep into the forums and player guides. Turns out, a lot of people think Froslass is better for battles, especially in the Go Battle League. It’s apparently a “demon” there because of its unique ability to set up Spikes, which is a huge advantage. People are saying it’s the only Ghost-type that can do this. But it’s only really good as a lead Pokemon because it’s not that strong otherwise. So I made a plan to battle with my friends to find out who’s better.
Then there’s the whole thing about types and weaknesses. Glalie has four weaknesses, while Froslass has five. But some players pointed out that Froslass has better offensive power. And get this – someone said Froslass is the only ice-type that isn’t weak to fighting-type moves, which is pretty cool if you ask me.
- Caught a bunch of Snorunts, both male and female.
- Leveled up some of them to 42 and they turned into Glalie.
- Used a Sinnoh Stone on a female Snorunt and got my Froslass.
- Compared their stats, moves, and everything else I could think of.
Here’s what I did:
After all that, it’s still not totally clear which one is “better.” It really depends on what you need. If you want a Pokemon for Raids, Glalie is a solid choice, especially if you can get a perfect one to Mega Evolve. But if you’re into player-versus-player battles, Froslass seems like the way to go, even though it’s a bit more work to get.
Honestly, I’m leaning towards Froslass just because it seems more unique and fun to use. But hey, that’s just me. What do you guys think?
