Alright, so the other day I was thinking about trying out that game everyone’s been talking about, “Lethal Company.” I heard it’s a blast to play with friends, scavenging for scrap and running from creepy crawlies on abandoned moons. Sounded right up my alley! I only have a PS4, so I figured I’d just grab it from the PlayStation Store.
I grabbed my controller, fired up my PS4, and went straight to the store. Typed in “Lethal Company” in the search bar, and… nothing. Huh, that’s weird. Maybe I spelled it wrong? Tried a few variations, even just “Lethal,” but still nothing came up.

Okay, no biggie. I pulled out my phone and did a quick Google search. That’s when I found out that “Lethal Company” isn’t even on PS4! Apparently, it’s a PC exclusive, only available on Steam. And from what I gathered, it’s still in Early Access, so it’s not even a finished game yet.
Browsed through some forums and Reddit threads, and it seems like the developers, Zeekerss, haven’t said anything about releasing it on consoles. Bummer. There was even a post saying don’t expect it on PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch anytime soon. I read something about “For now, on 1st December 2023, you can’t play Lethal Company on PS5, PS4. The game is only available on PC via early access”.
My Reaction
- Disappointed? Definitely. I was really looking forward to playing it with my console buddies.
- Surprised? A little. I figured with all the hype, it would be on all platforms.
- Hopeful? Maybe. I mean, it’s still early days, so who knows, maybe they’ll port it to consoles in the future.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure of trying to find “Lethal Company” on PS4. It was a short journey with a dead end. For now, it looks like I’ll have to stick to other games on my PS4. There are plenty of other cool games out there, but it’s a shame I’ll be missing out on this one for now. If you’re also a console player hoping to play it, you might wanna look into getting a gaming PC!
