Okay, so I’ve been grinding away on Pokemon GO lately, and let me tell you, I finally got that shiny Gold Hoenn Medal. Feels good, man. It wasn’t a walk in the park, though. I wanted to share how I got there, ’cause it took some serious doing.
First off, I started by catching every Pokemon I saw. Pidgeys, Rattatas, whatever. I figured I’d need those candies later for evolving, plus it was just good practice. Every little bit helps, right? I started hitting up different spots around town. Parks, shopping centers, even that weird abandoned lot down the street. You never know where a rare Pokemon might be hiding! I noticed that certain areas had more of the Hoenn Pokemon than others. That’s when I really started to grind. I walked, and walked, and walked some more. My shoes are practically worn out now, but it was worth it.
I also started using those incense things and lure modules like they were going out of style. Every little boost helps, you know? I even joined a few local Pokemon GO groups online. Those guys were a huge help. We’d share tips, coordinate raids, and even trade Pokemon. Teamwork makes the dream work, as they say.

Finally, after weeks of hustling, I caught that 90th Hoenn Pokemon. That little notification popped up, and I swear I almost jumped for joy. Gold Hoenn Medal, baby! It was a grind, but it felt so good to finally achieve it. Now, onto the next challenge!
