Okay, so I’ve been grinding Apex Legends like crazy lately, and I gotta say, the weapon meta is always changing. So, I decided to put together my own tier list based on my experiences.
My Apex Legends Weapons Tier List Journey
First off, I jumped into the firing range. I grabbed every single gun in the game, from pistols to sniper rifles. I spent a good chunk of time just getting a feel for each weapon’s recoil, damage output, and overall handling.

Experimenting with Attachments: Next, I started experimenting with different attachments. I slapped on various scopes, stocks, and mags to see how they affected each gun’s performance. Some guns, like the R-301, became absolute lasers with the right setup.

Putting Them to the Test: After the firing range, I took my findings into actual matches. I played countless games, trying out different loadouts and strategies. This is where things got interesting. Some guns that felt great in the firing range didn’t quite hold up in the heat of battle, while others surprised me with their effectiveness.

Taking Notes: Throughout this whole process, I jotted down notes on each weapon. I made note of things like time-to-kill, ease of use, and overall effectiveness in different situations. This helped me to start categorizing the guns into different tiers.

The Nemesis Burst AR: I gotta give a special shoutout to the Nemesis. Man, this gun is a beast! Once you get the charge-up mechanic down, it shreds through enemies. It’s easily become one of my go-to weapons.

Close-Range Beasts: For close-quarters combat, I found myself gravitating towards the R-99 and the C.A.R. SMG. These things are absolute bullet hoses, and if you can control the recoil, you’ll melt anyone who gets too close.

Mid to Long-Range: In the mid to long-range, I really enjoyed using the Flatline and the R-301. They’re both super versatile and can be kitted out to be effective at various distances. Sometimes, I’d even pair them with a 30-30 Repeater or Sentinel for some extra long-range poke.
Honestly, making this tier list was a blast. I learned a ton about the different weapons in Apex Legends, and it definitely improved my gameplay. But hey, this is just my opinion. The best gun for you might be different, and that’s the beauty of this game. There’s something for everyone.
