Okay, so the other day, I got this idea to mess around with the female characters in League of Legends. I’ve been playing this game for a while, and I always thought the female characters were pretty cool, but I never really did anything with that thought. So, I decided to change that.
First, I went ahead and made a list of all the female champions in the game. I mean, I play the game, but I couldn’t name them all off the top of my head. Turns out, there’s a ton! I counted 61 female characters in total, which is a lot when you think about it. They’ve got everything from assassins to mages to, you know, those sharpshooters, so you can take your pick.

After I got my list, I started looking into each character. I wanted to know their stories, their backgrounds, you know, what makes them tick. Some of them have some pretty wild backstories. Like, did you know there’s one that can turn into a spider? She’s called Elise and you can play her as a jungler. She can go from human to spider form from the first level, and she’s got six different abilities. Crazy, right?
Next, I started to rank them based on, well, whatever I felt like, really. It wasn’t just about who’s the strongest or the best in-game, but also who I thought had the coolest story or the most interesting design. I mean, they all look amazing, let’s be honest. But some just stand out more, you know?
I also checked out some stuff online about who other people like. There are lots of different opinions out there. One I saw was Lux. She’s like, this tall, blonde-haired, blue-eyed mage. She’s super popular. And then there’s this stat about how most players are guys, like 87%, and only 12% are girls, with 1% as non-binary. And most players are between 21 and 24 years old. Pretty interesting, huh?
So, after all that digging and ranking, I put together my own little project. I made some notes on each character, why I liked them, and how they compared to others. It was a fun little dive into the game’s lore and characters.
- Elise: Can switch between human and spider form. Has six abilities. Super unique and adds a cool dynamic to the game.
- Lux: A classic favorite. Her design is iconic, and her abilities are fun to play. Plus, her story is pretty engaging.
This whole thing was just a fun way to appreciate the game on a different level. I mean, I’m usually just clicking away, trying to win, but taking the time to look into the characters and their stories? It adds a whole new layer to the game. The female champions come from different backgrounds and offer a rich tapestry of characters.
This is just a small taste of what I found, by the way. There are so many other cool female characters in League of Legends, each with their own unique abilities and stories. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re into the game or just like cool character designs and stories. So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with the women of League of Legends. It was a blast, and I’m definitely going to do more stuff like this in the future.
I hope you guys enjoyed this little rundown of what I did. It’s not every day you get to combine gaming with a bit of research and creativity. Trust me, if you’re into League of Legends, or even if you’re just curious, taking a closer look at these characters is totally worth it. You might find your next main, or at least have a new appreciation for the game’s design. Catch you guys later!
