Okay, so, I’ve been playing a lot of Animal Crossing lately. I mean, A LOT. And I got really into this whole birthday thing with the villagers. So I figured, why not dig into the August birthdays? I started by just looking around online, seeing what I could find about who had birthdays in August.
First thing I did was check out some forums and fan wikis. It took a bit of time because I got distracted by reading about how rare the octopus villagers are in the game. It turns out they are the rarest ones, that’s why people want them! I felt so lucky that I have one in my village. I was trying to get more information on the August birthdays, but I started to see some posts about the Fireworks Show in August. I thought I should prepare for this event in advance. I have to admit I got sidetracked for a while there.

Anyway, I finally got back on track and started making a list. I cross-referenced a few different sources just to make sure I wasn’t missing anyone. I even double-checked some in-game dialogue because, you know, sometimes those villagers can be sneaky with information.
After that, I went into my own game and talked to a few villagers. One of them, Nan, mentioned her birthday was coming up. I realized it was actually today, August 21st. And also it is Jacob’s birthday, I almost forgot. It got me thinking, what happens if you miss a villager’s birthday? I remembered I missed Cherry’s birthday. It was a few months ago, and I felt a little bad. But I noticed that when I talked to her later, she didn’t even mention it. So, I guess it is not a big deal if you miss a villager’s birthday in the game, phew.
After making sure my notes were accurate, I decided to organize them a bit. Here’s the list I put together for August birthdays:
- August 21st – Wart Jr., Nan and Jacob
I decided that thirty-eight birthdays is a lot, so maybe I will focus on the villagers I have. I mean, that would make it more manageable and personal, right? For now, I’m just happy I finally got this list sorted. I’m sure that August is dominated by the Fireworks show, which will be quite fun.
Anyway, this whole birthday project turned out to be quite the adventure. More than I initially expected, for sure. It is summer now in the game, and I look forward to celebrating with my villagers.
