Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into Pokemon Go lately, and let me tell you, the hunt for shiny Pokemon is a real grind. Today, I wanna share my experience chasing down a shiny Persian. You know, that fancy-looking, normal-type cat Pokemon.
First things first, I started looking up some basic info about this shiny Persian. Turns out, it’s got this cool, unique color scheme that’s way different from the regular one. Plus, I learned that Persian has a stamina stat of 163.
Now, getting down to the actual hunt. I figured the best way to snag this shiny beast was to increase the number of Pokemon I encountered. Driving around seemed like the most efficient method, though I did a fair bit of walking in areas with a ton of spawns, especially during those special events. Those events are awesome, by the way, with all those cluster spawns and people dropping lures at Pokestops.
But encounters aren’t the only way to find shinies, you know. I kept my eyes peeled for Raid Bosses, made sure to complete those Special Research Breakthroughs, and grinded out those Research Tasks for rewards. Every little bit helps, right? I know these are other ways you might stumble upon a shiny.
- Encountering Pokemon in the wild: This is your bread and butter. Drive or walk around to find as many Pokemon as possible.
- Raids: Keep an eye out for Persian in raids. It’s not a common raid boss, but you never know.
- Research Tasks: Some tasks reward you with Pokemon encounters, and there’s a chance it could be a shiny.
- Special Research: These often have unique rewards, including shiny Pokemon.
I also did a little research on how to actually battle Persian. Turns out, it’s weak against fighting-type moves but strong against ghost-type. So, I made sure to power up my Machamp, Terrakion, Conkeldurr and Lucario for the job.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I used:
- Terrakion: This guy is a beast against normal types.
- Machamp: A classic fighting-type powerhouse.
- Conkeldurr: Another solid fighting-type choice.
- Lucario: Just in case I run into a Persian, Lucario helps me a lot.
It took a while, a lot of driving, walking, and battling, but finally, I got that shiny Persian! It was a real test of patience, but totally worth it in the end. This whole experience taught me that persistence really pays off in Pokemon Go. Keep at it, and you’ll snag those shinies eventually!
