Okay, so I was browsing around, trying to figure out what the deal is with this Dragonite card I’ve got. You know, the Pokémon card? I heard it might be worth something, so I got curious.
First off, I started digging around online to see what information I could find. Just typing “Dragonite price” into the search bar brought up a ton of stuff. It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest. There were all these different versions of Dragonite cards, from different sets and years, and they all had different prices.

I noticed some folks talking about “rarities” and “sets.” Apparently, the older cards, especially from the Fossil set, are worth more. I also saw some recent tournament results, like this one from December where a player named “bossin” used a Dragonite Ace card. I am not sure whether I have this one.
Then I started looking at individual cards. There was this one, “Dragonite #4” from the Fossil set, and another one, “Dragonite #149” from some Japanese set. Their price is different.
- “Dragonite #4” is from an older set called “Fossil.”
- “Dragonite #149” seems to be from a Japanese set.
Also, I learned that Dragonite is one of the rare ones in the wild, which is why it is popular among players, and the prices are not stable. The information mentioned that it is related to Dratini. It said that you need to catch Dratini first and then level it up. If you want to get a Dragonite, you should find Dratini. Dratini can be found near water, like lakes.
After reading all this, I checked my own Dragonite card. It’s “Dragonite (A1 244)” from something called “Mewtwo Packs.” I’m not really sure what that means, but it doesn’t seem to be one of the super rare ones. Bummer.
Anyway, this whole thing was a bit of a wild goose chase. I learned a lot about Dragonite cards and Pokémon in general, but I still don’t really know how much mine is worth. I guess I’ll have to keep digging or maybe ask someone who knows more about this stuff.
It was kind of fun, though. It’s like a little treasure hunt, trying to figure out the value of these things. Maybe I’ll get into collecting them, who knows? It is interesting, for sure.
