Okay, so I was messing around with this game, you know, the usual, trying to get better and all that. And I kept running into this Ashe character. Man, she’s a pain with those frost arrows slowing you down. So, I thought, “There’s gotta be a way to deal with this, right?”
I started by looking up some stuff online. You know, just browsing through forums and guides, the usual gamer stuff. A lot of folks were saying that champions with good mobility or some kind of crowd control are the way to go. Makes sense, right? If you can jump around or lock her down, she can’t kite you as easily.

First thing I tried was picking champions that could move around a lot. I went with Ezreal, I mean, that teleport. I thought I could just blink away every time she tried to slow me down. It worked… sometimes. Other times, I’d blink right into another one of her arrows. Not the best feeling, let me tell you.
- I’d pick Ezreal and focus on dodging her arrows with my teleport.
- Sometimes it worked great, I’d be all over the place, avoiding her attacks.
- Other times, not so much. I’d end up teleporting into more trouble.
My Ezreal Experiment
After a few matches of that, I figured I needed a different approach. So, I started looking into champions that could just lock her down. I tried a few, but then I landed on Hwei and Ziggs. They has this ability to just stop Ashe in her tracks. And Ziggs, that ultimate, if you can land it right, it’s pretty much game over for her.
- I picked Hwei and used his crowd control to stop Ashe from moving.
- I went with Ziggs because his ultimate can deal massive damage.
- It felt way better than trying to outrun her.
Locking Down with Hwei and Ziggs
After playing a bunch of games, I noticed a pattern. If I picked these counter champions early on, like in the first 25 minutes of the game, I had a pretty good win rate, somewhere above 51%. But if the game dragged on, especially past the 40-minute mark, my chances dropped to around 48%. I guess Ashe gets stronger later in the game, or maybe I just get tired.
So, yeah, that’s been my experience with trying to counter Ashe. It’s all about picking the right champion for the job and trying to end the game before she becomes too much of a problem. I’m still no pro, but hey, at least I’m not getting frozen in place as much anymore. Hope this helps someone else out there who’s struggling with the same issue!
