Okay, so, today I wanted to check out this game, “Lethal Company.” Everyone’s talking about it, and it sounds pretty cool. I thought, “Maybe I can get it for free?” So, first, I went on this website called Softonic. It’s been around forever, like 25 years, and it’s where I usually go to find free software.
Searching for a Free Download
I typed “Lethal Company free download for PC” into the search bar on Softonic. A bunch of results popped up, but none of them were the actual game. It was all just articles and stuff about the game, not the game itself. Turns out, you can’t actually play Lethal Company for free. It’s not like one of those free-to-play games. Bummer.

Looking at Other Options
Since I couldn’t find a free version, I decided to look around some more. I saw some stuff about mods, which are like, extra content you can add to games. Apparently, downloading mods for this game is a thing, and it’s kind of similar to downloading mods for other games. I didn’t really go down that road, though, because I just wanted to try the actual game first.
- Went to Softonic to look for a free download.
- Searched for “Lethal Company free download for PC”.
- Found out the game isn’t free.
- Looked into mods briefly but didn’t pursue them.
Realizing It’s Not Free
The main thing I learned today is that Lethal Company isn’t free. I guess you have to buy it. It’s pretty popular, so it makes sense that they’d charge for it. I read somewhere that if you don’t collect enough junk in the game, you get tossed out into space, which sounds intense! Maybe I’ll just watch some videos of people playing it for now. I mean I really want to play by myself. So I decided to buy it eventully.
My friend showed me how to get into it step by step. It’s a really fun game, you will never regret to have a try. We played it for a long time that night. So this is my experience today.
