Well, now, if ya wanna go after that big ol’ Zekrom in the raids, you gotta be smart ’bout it, or you’ll just be wastin’ yer time. Zekrom, ya see, is a Dragon and Electric-type, so it’s weak to a few types like Ice, Ground, Dragon, and Fairy. Now, I ain’t no fancy city folk, but I know that if you bring the right Pokémon, you’ll have a much easier time beatin’ it. So, lemme tell ya who can help ya take down that big ol’ Zekrom.
First off, if you got one of them Mega Rayquaza, you’re in for a good time. That Dragon Tail and Breakin’ Swipe combo packs a punch, y’know. It’s real strong and should be at the top of yer list. But if you ain’t got that, don’t worry, we got more options.

Next up, you wanna look at Primal Groudon. Now, this one’s good with Mud Shot and them Precipice Blades. It’s Ground-type, which means it’s great against Zekrom’s Electric moves. Ya see, if you use this feller right, you’ll be dodgin’ Zekrom’s attacks and dish out damage real fast.
- Mega Rayquaza: Dragon Tail and Breakin’ Swipe
- Primal Groudon: Mud Shot and Precipice Blades
- Mega Garchomp: Dragon Tail and Outrage
- Shadow Groudon: Mud Shot and Precipice Blades
- Palkia: Dragon Tail and Draco Meteor
Now, if you can get yer hands on Mega Garchomp, this fella will do ya good, too. He’s also got Dragon Tail, and if ya teach him Outrage, well, Zekrom won’t stand a chance! But be careful, ’cause these Dragons can be a bit risky since Zekrom’s got Dragon moves, too, y’know.
Another good one is Shadow Groudon. This one’s like Primal Groudon but, ya know, with that extra shadowy oomph! Use Mud Shot and Precipice Blades, and you’ll be plowin’ through Zekrom’s Electric defenses like butter. Just make sure you got him powered up good.
If yer lookin’ for a Legendary to join the party, Palkia ain’t a bad pick. He’s a Dragon/Water-type, so he can hold up against some of Zekrom’s Electric moves. Just give him Dragon Tail and Draco Meteor, and let ‘er rip!
Now, I ain’t sayin’ it’s gonna be easy, but with the right team, Zekrom will be goin’ down faster than a farmer chasin’ chickens. If you got friends helpin’ ya, two real good trainers could handle Zekrom, but if you’re solo, or yer friends ain’t got the top counters, ya might need three or four folks to get the job done. Just make sure yer Pokémon are maxed out in CP, and you use them moves that hit Zekrom where it hurts.
Also, if you’ve got any of them Shadow Pokémon, well, they sure help too! Them Shadow Groudons or Shadow Rayquazas hit even harder, just be careful since they take more damage too. You wanna hit Zekrom fast and hard, before he gets the chance to strike back too much. Time is money, y’know?
Now, don’t forget, Zekrom’s a tough cookie, but if ya keep throwin’ them Dragon, Ground, Ice, and Fairy moves at him, he’ll crack. And if you’re real lucky, ya might just catch yerself a shiny Zekrom. Shine like a new penny, it will!
So remember, next time ya see one of them Zekrom Raids poppin’ up, get yer team ready with the best counters. And if ya ain’t got all them top picks, just bring the strongest Dragons, Ice-types, or Ground-types ya got. Keep battlin’, and you’ll get that Zekrom in no time.
