Today I wanna talk about playing DFO, especially about this Brawler class. It’s been a while, man, I’ve been grinding and taking notes, and now I’m here to spill the beans.
So, first off, I jumped back into DFO after a long break. I wanted to try something new, so I rolled a Brawler. I had heard it was a solid choice, but there were also some other classes like Dark Templar, Asura, and Crusader that I considered. I was looking for something straightforward, you know? Something that wouldn’t require crazy gear to get into raids. Eventually, I made my choice and created a new Brawler.

Then, I started leveling up my Brawler. It was a bit of a grind, but I took my time, read some guides, and learned the ropes. These guides were made by some other players, real helpful stuff. It turns out the updated Male Brawler is more of a midrange zoning type. You gotta keep some distance and use your skills to control the area. I had to get used to it, but once I did, it felt pretty good.
There was some stuff about prioritizing skills. Like, I wanted to get both Venom Mines and Vulcan, but one is magic and the other is physical. I had to figure out what to focus on. But that’s part of the fun, right? Making choices and seeing how they work out. I chose to prioritize Venom Mines first, as it seemed to fit my playstyle better at the beginning.
- Read a lot of beginner guides
- Created a Male Brawler
- Focused on leveling up
- Prioritized Venom Mines
I also heard about these other classes, these support types like the Male and Female Priest Crusaders and the Female Mage Enchantress. The guides said to be careful with those as starting characters because they are more about helping others than dealing damage. I mean, they have DPS forms too, but it’s not their main thing. Good to know, I guess.
My Brawler, My Rules
Now, I’m still working on my Brawler, experimenting with different skills and gear. It’s a process, you know? But I’m having a blast. I’m even thinking about hitting up some raids soon. We’ll see how that goes. I might need to find a good guild or something. Anyway, just wanted to share my DFO Brawler journey so far. It’s been a ride, and I’m excited to see where it goes next. I’ll keep you guys updated, for sure.
