Alright, so I decided to get back into League of Legends. You know, it’s that game everyone’s always talking about, and I figured, why not give it another shot? So, I jumped into the split 2.
Starting From Scratch
First thing I did was just play a bunch of games. I mean, a lot. I started in Iron, which is like, the very bottom. I played a ton of different champions, trying to figure out what I liked and what worked for me.

As a laner, I learned that CSing is super important. It’s all about getting that last hit on minions to get gold. I practiced a lot just focusing on that. It wasn’t always pretty, but I got better over time. The pathing thing was another challenge, especially when I tried jungling. It’s like, where do you go first? How do you keep up with the other jungler? It was a lot of trial and error.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
Then, I started playing with friends. One of them is way better than me, so playing duo helped a lot. It’s like, when you lose, you don’t lose as much, and when you win, you win more. But my friend, he’s taking a hit for me, which I felt a bit bad about.
Climbing the Ladder
- Play a lot: There’s no substitute for just playing the game.
- CSing is key: Seriously, get those last hits.
- Pathing matters: Especially if you’re jungling, figure out your routes.
- Play with friends: It’s more fun, and you can learn from each other.
I also tried playing solo, mostly in the middle and top lanes. It’s tough, but it’s where I felt I could make the biggest impact. Some games were great, others, not so much. But hey, that’s League for you.
So that’s where I’m at. Still grinding, still learning. It’s a long process, but I’m slowly getting better. League of Legends is a complex game, and there’s always something new to learn. I’m just taking it one step at a time, trying to improve my skills and climb that ranked ladder.
It’s been a wild ride so far, and I’m excited to see where it goes. Stick around, and I’ll keep you updated on my progress. Maybe I’ll even hit Gold someday, who knows?
