Well, guys, it’s that time of the month again, and you know what that means – a new season in Marvel Snap! This March, I jumped into the game with both feet, ready to tackle whatever challenges came my way.
Getting Started
First things first, I checked out the new season pass to see what kind of goodies were up for grabs. Looks like Sentinels are the stars of the show this time around. I’ve always been a fan of these big guys, so I was pretty stoked to see them taking center stage. Alongside the Sentinels, we’ve got some other interesting cards like Nimrod and Kitty Pryde joining the fray. I spent some time tinkering around with different decks, trying to figure out the best way to incorporate these new cards into my strategies.

Climbing the Ranks
With my decks ready, I dove into the ranked ladder. I started off pretty strong, winning a few matches in a row. Those Sentinels are no joke! They really pack a punch when you use them right. I experimented with a few different Sentinel-focused decks, mixing and matching different supporting cards to see what worked best. It was a bit of trial and error, but I eventually found a setup that I felt comfortable with.
Nimrod and Kitty Pryde
- Nimrod – This card is a beast! When he’s destroyed, he pops up in each of your other locations. Talk about a comeback mechanic! I had some fun experimenting with ways to destroy him myself, using cards like Carnage and Deathlok.
- Kitty Pryde – Now, Kitty is a bit trickier to use. She returns to your hand each turn, getting +2 Power each time. I tried using her in a few different decks, but I haven’t quite cracked the code on her yet. She seems like she has a lot of potential, though.
Mid-Season Shakeup
About halfway through the month, the developers dropped a new balance patch. A few of my favorite cards got nerfed, while some of the weaker ones got buffed. This is always a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, it’s annoying when your go-to cards get weakened. But on the other hand, it’s exciting to see some new strategies become viable. I spent a good chunk of time retooling my decks and trying out new combinations.
The Final Push
As the end of the season approached, I buckled down and focused on making one last push up the ladder. I faced some tough opponents and had a few nail-biting matches that came down to the wire. There were definitely some frustrating losses, but I also had some incredibly satisfying wins. In the end, I managed to climb a few more ranks before the season ended.
Overall Thoughts
All in all, this March season of Marvel Snap was a blast. I had a lot of fun experimenting with the new Sentinel cards and trying to figure out the best way to use Nimrod and Kitty Pryde. There were definitely some ups and downs, but that’s all part of the game. I’m already looking forward to seeing what next season has in store!
