Hey guys, today I wanted to share my experience with the Invoker Karma build in Teamfight Tactics. I’ve been messing around with this comp for a while now, and let me tell you, it’s pretty nuts when it hits.
So, first things first, I started the game trying to play it cool, you know, flexible. I didn’t force anything too early. I just focused on building up my economy. Saving up gold is key in the early stages. I kept an eye out for strong units to keep my board stable, nothing too fancy, just enough to not bleed out too much health.

While I was doing that, I also started to collect some items. You’re gonna need some specific stuff for this comp. AP items for Karma are a must, and I tried to grab some tanky items for Taric as well. I made sure to scout other players too, seeing what they were building and trying to stay ahead of the game.
Then came the mid-game, around level 7. This is where things get interesting. I started rolling down to find my core units. I was looking for Karma, Taric, and Soraka. Getting them to 2-star is crucial for stabilizing. Once I got them, I also added Shen and even Sett for that sweet Ionia synergy.
Now, with a decent board, I had a choice to make. Either keep rolling to try and 3-star my main units like Karma, Soraka, and Taric, or push for higher levels. It really depends on the game state. If I was feeling strong and my economy was good, I’d go for the 3-stars. If I was getting pressured or saw others hitting their power spikes, I’d level up to add more units to the board.
There was this one game where everything just clicked. I managed to hit Taric 3 and Soraka 3 pretty early. Let me tell you, with those two at 3-stars, my frontline was unkillable, and Soraka’s healing was just insane. And then there’s Karma. Oh boy, with the right items, she just melts through the enemy team. It’s so satisfying to watch her pop off.
One thing I noticed is that this comp really shines when you get that “Loving Invocation” augment. It gives your team extra Ability Power every time your Invokers cast their abilities. That extra AP boost makes a huge difference, especially in longer fights.
Here’s a quick rundown of how I played it:
- Early Game: Played it cool, saved up gold, grabbed some items.
- Mid Game (Level 7): Rolled for Karma, Taric, Soraka 2-stars. Added Shen and Sett.
- Late Game: Decided whether to roll for 3-stars or level up based on the situation.
I’ve had some crazy games with this comp. It’s not always a guaranteed win, but when it works, it really works. I’ve had matches where I just steamrolled the lobby, and others where I barely scraped by. But hey, that’s TFT for you, right? Always a bit of a gamble.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience with this build. It’s been a blast playing it, and I hope you guys have fun with it too. Let me know if you’ve tried it and what your thoughts are. Always down to chat about this stuff.
Alright, that’s it for today. Catch you guys later!
