Hey everyone, today I’m gonna share my experience with the Starfield Premium Edition countdown. So, I was super hyped about Starfield, like many of you, and I really wanted to jump in as soon as possible.
I decided to pre-order the Premium Edition. The main reason? Early access, man! The official info said that early access for Premium Edition owners would start on August 31st.
I made sure to check my license history to confirm I had the early access version. It was all good there. I kept seeing everywhere that it would be available at 8 PM Eastern Time.
But here’s where it got a bit confusing. Some people online were talking about how the Steam countdown timer was only for the standard edition. And I am like: “What?”
- So I uninstall the game and install it again.
- And I found that there is an item called premium edition content.
- Uninstall and reinstall it.
Guess what? After I did that, I launched it and it worked!
Just remember the time for early access was 5 PM PDT, which is 8 PM EDT, on August 31st. There were different release times depending on where you are, so make sure you got that right.
So, if you snagged the Premium Edition and are itching to get into Starfield, double-check your version, maybe try reinstalling the premium edition content. Hopefully, this little adventure of mine helps some of you out!
