Today I wanted to mess around with NBA 2K24 and check out Kyrie Irving’s stats.
First, I booted up the game and went straight to the roster section. I wanted to see all the player ratings in one place, so I started browsing through the current default roster. It was pretty cool to see all the players listed there, and I could sort and filter them by different categories, which was handy.
After a bit of scrolling, I found Kyrie Irving. His overall rating was 94, which is seriously impressive. I clicked on his profile to get more details. The amount of information they had on him was insane! There were his attributes, the animations he uses, and even his stat and badge upgrades. I also noticed something about dynamic duos, which seemed interesting, but I didn’t dive too deep into that.
I did some reading online, and I found out that after the Nuggets had that amazing run to the 2023 NBA title, Irving’s rating got a bump. He’s now at 91 OVR, which is a +1 increase. Apparently, the offense for the Dallas Mavericks mostly runs through Luka Dončić, but when it’s crunch time, Irving is the go-to guy. That’s pretty awesome.

Then, get this—I saw a post on Friday saying that NBA 2K25 is going to rate Irving as a 92 overall. They compared him to Kawhi Leonard, which is some high praise. It looks like he’s getting even better in the game, which is super exciting for fans like me. That’s all I wanted to share for today!
