Okay, so, I’ve been grinding away at Genshin Impact lately, right? And I finally hit level 50 on the battle pass! For the first time ever, I got that far. It felt pretty good, I gotta say. I was staring at that screen, thinking, “Should I actually drop ten bucks on this Gnostic Hymn thing?”
I mean, I’ve always been a free-to-play kind of guy. But all those rewards looked shiny. I started to consider if it was really worth it. I spent a few minutes looking at all the stuff I’d unlock.

- A bunch of Fates,
- A mountain of Mora,
- Talent Books,
- EXP materials.
- And of course a cool four-star weapon.
I weighed the pros and cons. On the one hand, ten bucks is ten bucks. On the other hand, it’s a pretty good chunk of resources for that price. The Welkin Moon is obviously a steal, but this seemed like the next best thing.
I did a little bit of digging around. You know, just to see what other players thought. It turns out that a lot of people think the battle pass weapons are actually pretty decent! Especially the Serpent Spine and the Wolf Fang. Apparently, those two are super versatile because their passive abilities work well with a bunch of different characters.
So, after much deliberation, I finally decided to go for it. I clicked that purchase button, and bam! Instantly got all those goodies. I picked the Serpent Spine, by the way, because I heard such good things about it and wanted to try it out with my Diluc.
Honestly, no regrets. I immediately leveled up the Serpent Spine and started using it. The extra crit rate is noticeable. And all those other resources? They’re definitely going to come in handy. Plus, I got a good amount of primogems too, which is always nice.
So, yeah, that’s my experience with the Genshin battle pass weapon. It felt like a big decision at first, but in the end, I’m happy I did it. It’s definitely a solid way to get some good stuff if you’re willing to spend a little cash.
If any of you guys have been on the fence about it, I say go for it. It’s worth it!
