So, I’ve been playing Fortnite for a while now, and I’ve always had my eye on that Midas skin. You know, the guy with the golden touch? Yeah, that one. It’s legendary, and I’ve been wanting it like crazy.
I finally decided, “Screw it, I’m gonna get it.” I started looking around online to see where I could snag one. I saw some people selling accounts with the skin, but that seemed a bit sketchy, you know? I didn’t wanna risk getting scammed or anything.
Then I remembered the good old in-game item shop. That’s the legit way to get skins, right? So I hopped onto Fortnite, fired up the item shop, and started browsing. I scrolled and scrolled, but no Midas. I was starting to get bummed out. Was it even still available?
I did some more digging online. Turns out, the Midas skin isn’t always in the shop. It’s one of those that comes and goes. Bummer. But I wasn’t giving up that easily.
I kept checking the item shop every day, hoping to see that golden boy pop up. Days turned into weeks, and still no luck. I started to lose hope. Was I ever gonna get my hands on that skin?
But then, one glorious day, I logged in, and there it was. The Midas skin, shining in all its golden glory, right there in the item shop! I couldn’t believe my eyes. I almost screamed!
I had saved up enough V-Bucks from completing challenges and stuff, so I didn’t hesitate for a second. I clicked on that “Purchase” button so fast, I think I pulled a muscle. And just like that, the Midas skin was mine! Finally!
I immediately equipped it and jumped into a game. Man, I felt like a king. It was totally worth the wait. It might sound silly, but getting that skin felt like a huge accomplishment.
So yeah, that’s my story of how I finally got the Midas skin in Fortnite. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, but I’m so glad I stuck with it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go turn some more things to gold.
