Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this NBA 2K24 game, yeah, the 25th Anniversary Edition, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. First off, I jumped on that pre-order bonus thing they had going on between July 7th and 17th. Gotta get those extra goodies, right?
And oh boy, the goodies were good! I scored a 12-month NBA League Pass subscription. That’s a whole year of basketball action – I was stoked! Plus, they threw in 100K Virtual Currency and a bunch of MyTEAM stuff. I’m talking 50K MyTEAM Points, a Ruby Cover Star Kobe Bryant Rookie Card – the whole nine yards. Seriously, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning.
But here’s the part I really wanted to share, something they call the “Black Mamba MyPLAYER Capsule”. It’s like this special package filled with Kobe-themed gear to customize your MyPLAYER. I was curious, so I dove right in.
First thing I did was open up that capsule. Inside, I found a Black Arm Sleeve. I slapped that on my character right away. Next up, a Purple Oversized T-Shirt. Now, I’m not usually one for purple, but hey, it’s Kobe, so I rocked it. And there was also a Yellow T-shirt in there, which I thought was a nice touch. I mean, purple and yellow? Classic Lakers colors!
- Black Arm Sleeve: Equipped this immediately. Felt like a true baller.
- Purple Oversized T-Shirt: Not my usual style, but for Kobe? I made an exception.
- Yellow T-Shirt: A great addition to the collection, matching the Lakers theme.
The last piece was a Kobe Player Panel. Honestly, I didn’t even know what to do with it at first. But after playing around with it, I added it to my player profile. And you know what? It actually looked pretty slick.
So, yeah, that’s my experience with the Black Mamba MyPLAYER Capsule. I spent hours just trying out different combinations, mixing and matching the gear. It’s a pretty cool way to pay tribute to Kobe, and it definitely adds another layer of fun to the game. My Overall Impression
