Hey you all! Today I want to talk about that thing, you know, the 2k24 25th anniversary edition price. That game thingy. My grandson, he’s always going on about it. Says it’s a big deal this year, 25 years or something. Sounds like a long time to me.
2k24 Anniversary Price, What’s the Deal?
So, this 2k24 25th anniversary edition, it’s like the fancy one, right? Like when you buy the big bucket of chicken instead of just the little one. Costs more, but you get more stuff. This one, they say it’s only gonna be around ’til September 10, 2023. So, not long, gotta hurry if you want it.

Now, the price, that’s what everyone wants to know. It ain’t cheap, I’ll tell you that. It’s like, $149.99! Can you believe that? For a game! Back in my day, we played with sticks and rocks, and we were happy. But these young folks, they need their fancy games.
This price is only for digital, like you download it, not a box.
What Else You Get with 2k24?
They say you get some extra stuff with this 2k24 anniversary edition. Like, I don’t know, some special players or clothes for your guys in the game. My grandson, he was rattling off a whole list, but it all sounded like gibberish to me. Virtual currency, bonus content, like that.
If you want to pre-order, you can do it now. Pre-order is like you pay before it come out. It opened in July 7, 2023.
- 100,000 virtual currency
- MyTEAM bonus content
- MyCAREER bonus content
- Kobe Bryant items
But, you know, I heard some folks grumbling about this game. Saying it’s like those free games you get on your phone, but you gotta pay big money anyway. Like, $80 or something! And then you gotta pay more to make your player good. Another $100, they are saying. Sounds like a racket to me.
Now they have 2k24 Kobe Bryant Edition. And the price for old console like Xbox one and PlayStation 4 is $59.99.
Is This 2k24 Price Worth It?
Well, that’s the million-dollar question, ain’t it? Or should I say, the $149.99 question. If you’re really into this basketball game, and you got the money to burn, then maybe it’s worth it. You get all the extra stuff, and it’s a special edition, so that’s kinda cool, I guess.
But if you’re like me, and you think $149.99 is a lot of money for a game, then maybe just stick with the regular one. Or, you know, go outside and play some real basketball. That’s free, and it’s good for you, too. Plus no need to pay for season pass, about $10-20.
I remember one time, my grandson was trying to explain to me about microtransactions. That’s what they call it when you buy little things in the game with real money. He was saying how it’s like buying a new shirt for his player, or a new basketball. And I said, “Why don’t you just go buy a real basketball? It’ll last longer and you can actually use it!” He just rolled his eyes at me. These kids today, I tell ya.
2k24, Just a Game
Anyway, that’s my two cents on this 2k24 25th anniversary edition price thing. It’s a lot of money, but if you’re a big fan, then maybe it’s worth it to you. Just remember, it’s just a game. Don’t let it break the bank. And if you see my grandson, tell him to call his grandma. I got some cookies that need eating.

This 2k24 is just a game. A game you need to pay.
You want to be good at the game? Pay.
You want to look good at the game? Pay.
Oh, this game is making me dizzy.
I am going to sleep. And you all do not forget to eat your vegetable.
