Oh, that Pikachu, it’s a cute little thing, ain’t it? My grandkids, they’re always going on about these Pokey-mans. They say, “Grandma, you gotta see this!” And I say, “What is it now, another one of those critters?” But this Pikachu, it changes, you see. It gets bigger and stronger. That’s what they call evolution.
Now, if you want your Pikachu to get all big and strong, gotta get it some of that EXP. Don’t ask me what it stands for, somethin’ somethin’ points. Like scoring in a game, I reckon. You get enough of these points, and your Pikachu, it levels up! Just like climbin’ a ladder, one rung at a time. And when it gets to a certain level, that’s when the magic happens!

Let’s Go Pikachu Evolution Levels
That’s what my grandkids keep yelling “Let’s Go Pikachu, Let’s Go!” They’re always in a hurry, those young’uns. So this “Let’s Go” thing, it’s like a game, I guess. And in this game, Pikachu can become something else.
They told me once, if you catch a Chansey, that’s a good thing. It is a pink one, that gives a lot of that EXP. More than others, even that Blissey. You know, the one looks like a big ol’ egg with wings? I don’t know why, but them Chanceys, they’re like a gold mine for this EXP stuff. And you need that stuff to make Pikachu change and get all strong.
- First, Pikachu’s just a little fella, yellow with rosy cheeks. Cute as a button.
- Then, you gotta get it to level 16. That’s what one of the charts says. I saw it with my own two eyes.
- And bam! It turns into a Raichu! Bigger, got a long tail. Looks a bit different, but it’s still your Pikachu, just tougher.
Now I ain’t seen no wild Pokey-man battles in this Let’s Go thing. They told me there ain’t none! You just catch ’em. Like pickin’ berries, I suppose. Except these berries fight back sometimes. And catchin’ them Chanceys, that’s like findin’ a whole bush full of ripe, juicy berries. You just gotta catch as many as you can!
There’s other Pokey-mans too, not just Pikachu. There is this one, Bulba-something, starts at level 16 too, then goes to level 32, and it becomes a big ol’ plant thing. Don’t know why anyone would want that, but the kids seem to like it. And there’s a fire one, starts with a C, that also changes at level 16, then again at another level. It’s all very confusin’, all these numbers and names.
Get That Pikachu Strong!
But the main thing is, if you want your Let’s Go Pikachu to be the strongest, you gotta level it up. And to level it up, you need that EXP. And the best way to get that EXP is to catch them Chanceys. They are the best for Let’s Go Level Up Fast. It’s like feedin’ your chickens good food so they lay more eggs. You gotta feed your Pikachu that EXP so it grows big and strong!
Some folks, they trade these Pokey-mans. Like swappin’ baseball cards, I reckon. But I don’t know much about that. Seems like a lot of work to me. Just catchin’ them Chanceys seems easier. And there’s somethin’ about using items, like givin’ your Pokey-man a special treat. But again, that’s all too complicated for me.
I remember one time, my grandson was showin’ me his game. He was so excited, jumpin’ up and down. He said, “Grandma, look! My Pikachu evolved!” And there it was, bigger and different. He was so proud. It made me smile, seein’ him so happy. These Pokey-mans, they sure do bring joy to the young’uns.
- Catch Chansey for lots of EXP.
- Get Pikachu to level 16 to evolve it.
- Level up your Pikachu to make it strong.
So, if you’re playin’ this Let’s Go Pikachu game, and you want your little yellow friend to become a big, strong Raichu, just remember what this old lady told you. Catch them Chanceys, get that EXP, and watch your Pikachu grow! It ain’t rocket science, just good old-fashioned hard work, like tendin’ to your garden. You put in the effort, and you’ll see the results. And who knows, maybe you’ll even enjoy it as much as my grandkids do.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go see what all the commotion is about. Sounds like someone just caught another one of them Pokey-mans. Kids these days, always on the go. Always yellin’, “Let’s Go Pikachu! Let’s Go!” It’s a busy life, keepin’ up with these young’uns and their Pokey-mans. But hey, it keeps me young, I suppose. And that ain’t such a bad thing, is it?
