This here thing, battle pass tier skip, I heard the young’uns talking ’bout it the other day. Sounds like some newfangled way to get ahead in them video games they play all the time. I don’t rightly understand it all, but I’ll tell ya what I gathered.
What’s This Battle Pass Thing?
First off, there’s this thing called a battle pass. It’s like a, like a punch card, I reckon. You do stuff in the game, you get a punch. You get enough punches, you get some goodies. I guess it keeps them young’uns playing, trying to get all them rewards. And it only lasts for a little while, this “season” they call it. Then they start fresh with a new one, gotta get all them punches again.

- Play the game, do the things they want
- Get points or whatever
- Unlock stuff, like new clothes for their little characters
Now, this tier skip, that’s where it gets a bit tricky. Seems like you can just, pay some money and skip ahead. Don’t gotta do all the work, just jump right up to the good stuff. They say you can skip a bunch of levels. 50 levels they said! Imagine that! I think one of them said it’s for that game, what’s it called, Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone? That’s what I heard. My grandson, he’s always going on about that game. Something about shooting and all that. I don’t know.
Why Would You Skip?
Well, I suppose if you ain’t got the time to be playing all day, this here skip lets ya get the rewards without all the fuss. Or maybe you just want that special, shiny thing at the end of the line, and you don’t wanna wait. Like cutting in line at the grocery store, but for video games.
- Don’t got time to play all day long
- Want that shiny thing at the end, right now
- Just lazy, maybe? Who knows
But them skips, they don’t carry over, you know. They told me that. Like, if you buy them, and the season ends, they are gone! Poof! Wasted. So, you gotta use them up before the new one starts. I think they said if you get some special thing, like, what was it, Blackcell? Those carry over. But the normal ones, no sir. They also said something about the battle pass being a good deal. You get all sorts of things. Like, clothes for your guy, and experience points, and who knows what else. And you get it all even if you get it late, retroactive they call it.
Is It Worth It?
Well, that’s the million-dollar question, ain’t it? If you got money to burn, and you really want them digital doodads, then maybe. But me? I think I’d rather spend my money on something real, something I can hold in my hand. Like a nice pie, or a new pair of socks. Some say you get more experience points, too. You play the game, do challenges, and you get more points if you got this battle pass thing. Makes it go faster, I guess.
- Depends if you like them digital things
- Maybe a waste of money, maybe not
- Could be spending it on something better, like pie
More About This Skipping
Now, I heard them talking about these tier skip bundles too. Sounds like you can buy a whole bunch of these skips at once. Like buying in bulk at the wholesale store. Save a little money that way, I suppose. Seems like there is going to be some of that for that Warzone game. They keep changing things, those game people.
- Buy a bunch of skips at once, maybe save money
- Warzone’s gonna get some, that’s what they say
- Always changing things up, those game folks
But here’s the thing – these skips, they don’t get you experience for the game, they said. Just for the battle pass. So, you still gotta play to get better at the game, I reckon. It just skips the battle pass stuff. It’s all so confusing.
So, there ya have it. That’s what I know about this battle pass tier skip business. It’s a way to get ahead in them video games, but it costs ya. And you gotta use ’em up before they disappear. If you’re into that sort of thing, then go for it. But me, I think I’ll stick to my knitting. It’s a lot less complicated, and I get a nice scarf out of it in the end.
