You wanna talk about that Porrima star system, huh? That newfangled space game, Starfield, got everyone all riled up about it. Well, I heard a thing or two about it from my grandson. He’s always on that computer of his.
So, this Porrima, it’s a whole bunch of stars and rocks all clumped together out there in the dark. Ain’t no place like home, that’s for sure. They say there are planets out there, big balls of rock and gas, just spinning around. Imagine that!

That Porrima Place in Starfield
My grandson, he was going on and on about how you can fly your spaceship in Starfield to this Porrima place. Says you can land on some of those big rocks, but I don’t know why you’d want to. Ain’t nothing but trouble out there, I reckon. He was talking about Porrima II, some big planet. But you can’t live there. No sir, not a place for decent folks.
- Porrima I, that’s the first one.
- Then there’s Porrima II, the big one you can’t live on.
- Porrima III, haven’t heard much about that one.
- Porrima IV-A and Porrima IV-C, more rocks, I guess.
He showed me pictures on his computer. Lots of red and orange and swirling clouds. Looks hot, dusty. Not my cup of tea. I like my green grass and blue skies. But these young folks, they love their space adventures. They call it Starfield Porrima system, like it’s some fancy resort. Sounds like a lot of empty to me.
All Them Planets in Porrima Star System
This Porrima system, it’s got a whole bunch of those planets. Big ones, small ones, all floating around a big ol’ star. My grandson, he says there are six of them. Six! Can you imagine? And some of them have moons, little baby planets circling the big ones. It’s a whole family of rocks out there.
Now, I don’t understand all the fuss. Why go all the way out there when you got everything you need right here? But like I said, the young folks love it. They say you can find things on those planets, special rocks and such. Maybe they’re worth something, I don’t know.
Flying Around in Starfield to Porrima
That game, Starfield, it lets you fly around to all these places. You get in your spaceship, punch in some buttons, and off you go. Zooming through the dark, faster than a bird. It’s all make-believe, of course, but it looks real enough on that screen.
My grandson, he spends hours flying to that Porrima system. He says there are missions, like chores, you gotta do out there. Find this, deliver that. Sounds like work to me. He was mentioning some missions in this Porrima system in Starfield. All those planets and moons he could go. I told him to be careful, you never know what’s hiding in the dark.
No Place Like Home
Now, I may not know much about stars and planets, but I know this: there’s no place like home. All that flying around in Starfield to Porrima, it’s just a game. Fun to look at, maybe, but it ain’t real life. Give me a good old-fashioned garden any day. That’s where the real treasures are, growing right out of the ground.
This Porrima star system, it’s just a lot of empty space if you ask me. But hey, if it keeps the young folks entertained, who am I to complain? Just as long as they remember to come home for supper. That’s all that matters. And maybe, just maybe, one day they’ll realize that all that fancy space stuff ain’t got nothing on a good home-cooked meal.
This whole Starfield Porrima system thing is beyond me. But kids these days, they love it. So, there you have it. That’s all I know about that Porrima place. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got some chores to do. And unlike those space chores, mine actually need to get done.
