Well, well, well, look what we have here! You young folks and your fancy phones, always chasing them little critters in that Pokemon Go game. Today, we’re gonna talk about that funny one, that Mime Pokemon Go. He’s a tricky one, that Mr. Mime.
My grandkids, they’re always going on about it. “Gotta catch ’em all,” they say. Sounds like a lot of fuss to me, but hey, whatever keeps ’em happy. This Mr. Mime, he’s like a clown, ain’t he? With them big hands and that silly dance. You see him in that game, running around, making faces.

Now, they say this Mime Pokemon Go, he ain’t just anywhere. Nope, you gotta go lookin’ for him. They tell me he’s usually over in Europe. Europe! Can you believe it? That’s a long way from here. I ain’t never been, but I hear it’s real different over there.
- This Mr. Mime, he likes them busy places.
- Places with lots of people, like them city squares.
- My grandson, he went all the way to Spain once, looking for one.
Spain! That’s even further! Said he saw two of ’em, this Mime Pokemon Go, near some library place. Fancy name, that library. Something like “Biblioteca Popular Perez Galdos”. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? I can barely say it, let alone spell it. But they are very happy for catching it. The Mime Pokemon Go seems very popular among the young people.
Anyways, this Mr. Mime, he ain’t easy to find, even in them places. You gotta keep your eyes peeled. And you gotta have that phone thing charged up, ’cause you’ll be walking around for a while. My grandson, he walks miles and miles for these Pokemon. Good for him, I say. Keeps him out of trouble. Better than sitting inside all day, staring at a screen. Oh, the irony!
So, if you’re really set on finding this Mime Pokemon Go, you best be prepared for a trip. And a long walk. And maybe learn a little bit of that Spanish. “Hola,” they say. That means hello. I learned that from my grandson. He’s a smart one. Not like me, I never learned no fancy languages.
But, you know what? I think it’s kinda fun, this Pokemon Go thing. Gets people out and about. Gets ’em talking to each other. Even old folks like me can get in on the fun, watching the young’uns chase them little critters around. It’s like a big game, ain’t it? A big, world-wide game. And the Mime Pokemon Go is a very special one in it.
Though, I still don’t understand why they want that Mr. Mime so bad. He just looks like a regular clown to me. But hey, to each their own, I reckon. If it makes ’em happy, that’s all that matters. As long as they don’t forget to call their grandma every now and then. And maybe come visit sometime. We got plenty of fresh air out here in the country, even if we ain’t got no Mr. Mimes.
Now, some folks, they say there are other ways to get this Mime Pokemon Go. They talk about trading with other people. I don’t know about all that. Sounds complicated. Back in my day, we traded marbles and baseball cards. Simple things. These kids today, they got it all figured out with their fancy technology.
- If you are going to look for Mr. Mime, you need to prepare the followings.
- A fully charged phone.
- A trip to Europe. Maybe Spain.
- A lot of time for walking.
But, you know, even with all this technology, some things stay the same. Like the joy of finding something you’ve been looking for. That feeling when you finally catch that Pokemon, or find that rare marble, or whatever it is you’re after. That’s a good feeling. And that Mime Pokemon Go, he seems to give folks that feeling. Even I can catch it on my phone.
So, if you’re out there, hunting for that Mr. Mime, I wish you luck. Hope you find him. And I hope you have fun doing it. Just remember to look up from your phone every once in a while. There’s a whole world out there, besides them little Pokemon. And who knows, you might even see something just as interesting as a Mr. Mime. Maybe even more interesting. You never know what you might find when you’re out exploring. And do not forget that the Mime Pokemon Go is waiting for you somewhere.
Just don’t go getting lost, now. And don’t forget to call your grandma. She worries, you know. Even if she don’t understand all this Pokemon Go stuff. She still loves you. And she’s always happy to hear from you. Especially if you tell her you caught that darn Mime Pokemon Go. She might not know what it is, but she’ll be happy for you. That’s what grandmas do.
