Well, let me tell you, this Mortal Kombat 11, or MK11 as the young folks call it, is a real head-scratcher. All these buttons and moves, it’s enough to make your head spin. But I’ve been watchin’ my grandson play, and I’m startin’ to get the hang of this MK11 move list thing.
You got your punches, your kicks, and then you got these special moves. Lordy, the special moves! Seems like every one of them fighter fellas has their own set of tricks. You gotta press this button, then that button, then wiggle the stick just so. It ain’t easy, I tell ya. But if you wanna win, you gotta learn these MK11 moves.
My grandson, he’s a whiz at it. He’s got this move list for Mortal Kombat 11 all figured out. He showed me that there’s like a book, a move list in the game. When you pause, just hit that start button, and bam, the whole thing is right there! You just gotta pick your fighter guy and the move list shows up. Who knew?
Now, I ain’t no expert, but I seen him do these things called “combos”. That’s when you string a bunch of moves together. Punch, kick, special move, all in a row. Looks fancy, and it sure does a number on the other fella. And you can make them do other things to the other guy, like stun. This one guy, he can make the other guy freeze, it’s crazy. The MK11 move list has all these, so many it’s hard to remember.
- You gotta press buttons real fast.
- Sometimes you gotta press two buttons at the same time.
- And sometimes you gotta move that little stick around like you’re stirrin’ a pot.
He keeps yellin’ about “normals” and “pokes”. I asked him, “What in tarnation are you talkin’ about?” Turns out, “normals” are just your regular punches and kicks. You know, the basic stuff. And “pokes” are just quick little jabs to keep the other fella at bay. This is all in that MK11 move list thing. It is a lot to take in, let me tell you. This game sure is somethin’.
One thing I learned is that you gotta be quick. This ain’t no checkers game. You gotta be ready to block, ready to dodge, and ready to unleash your own attacks. And you gotta know when to use those special moves. Don’t just go throwin’ them out willy-nilly. Save ’em for when you really need ’em. Those special moves are how you are going to win. There are so many MK11 moves, I cannot remember them all!
There’s this thing called a “fatal blow” too. Now that’s somethin’ else. It’s like a super-duper special move that you can only use when you’re about to lose. It’s a last resort, but it can turn the whole fight around. I seen my grandson do it a few times. Pretty gruesome, I gotta say, but effective. There’s a whole section in the MK11 move list about these “fatal blows”. It’s wild. You know, there’s a way to unlock a secret tower in this game, the secret tower? It’s so secret, even I know about it! You push up, left, up, left, right, left, up. Maybe it is different for you, I don’t know. It is fun to find secrets though.
And each of these fighter fellas has different moves, like I said before. You got this one fella, Scorpion, he’s got a spear that he throws. And then there’s this other one, Sub-Zero, he can freeze people. It’s all very confusin’, but my grandson seems to enjoy it. He spends hours in front of that screen, mashin’ buttons and yellin’ at the TV. That MK11 move list has all this stuff, how each fighter is different.
I asked him why he likes this game so much. He says it’s “fun” and “challenging”. He says it takes “skill” and “strategy”. I guess I can see that. It ain’t just about button-mashin’. You gotta think about what you’re doin’ and what your opponent is gonna do. He was going on and on about some “D, B” and “Air Razor-Rang”. I don’t know what any of that means, but it sure sounds important. He was saying it was part of a “Deadly Assassin”. I don’t know, these kids and their games! I think you have to put it in the MK11 move list yourself to make it work. He is so smart. I don’t know how he does it.
You know what they say, “Practice makes perfect.” My grandson is sure getting a lot of practice with his Mortal Kombat. He says that Mortal Kombat 11 is good for people who are new to these fighting games, it has “beginner-friendly mechanics”, whatever that means. There is a lot to do in the game, it is very deep he says, but easy to learn. All I know is that if you want to learn all the MK11 moves, it takes time. This MK11 move list is long!
So, if you’re thinkin’ about tryin’ out this Mortal Kombat 11, just be prepared to spend some time learnin’ the ropes. It ain’t easy, but it sure is somethin’ to watch. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll even learn a thing or two about these newfangled video games. Just remember that MK11 move list, and you’ll be alright. I hope so, anyway.
