This Heartsteel thing in that League of Legends game, it’s somethin’ else. I heard some folks talkin’ about it, sayin’ it’s a big deal. They say it’s a legendary item, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, but I don’t know nothin’ about fancy. I just know what I see, and what I hear from them young folks playin’ that game all day.
They say this Heartsteel, it’s good for them big, tough fellas in the game. You know, the ones that can take a beatin’ and keep on goin’. They call ’em “tanks”. Like a big ol’ tractor, just plowin’ through everything. And this Heartsteel thing, it makes ’em even tougher, like addin’ an extra layer of metal plating to that tractor.
Now, I heard some names thrown around, like Tahm Kench and Dr. Mundo. I don’t know who they are, but apparently, they’re real good with this Heartsteel. Like peanut butter and jelly, they just go together. These fellas get stronger the more they get hit, it’s like magic or somethin’.
But some other folks, they say it ain’t so good on everyone. Like puttin’ a saddle on a pig, it just don’t fit right. They say it’s only good for a couple of these “champions,” that’s what they call ’em. For the rest, it’s just a waste of time, like tryin’ to teach an old dog new tricks. Some folks say this Heartsteel is a “troll item”. I guess that means bad, but don’t quote me on that. I’m just passin’ along what I hear.
This one fella, Sion, they say he’s the best with it. somethin’ about “Hydra scaling”. I don’t know what all that means, something about gettin’ more “HP”. they say he gets a lot of “AD”, which they say is good. He gets stronger and stronger, like that old oak tree in my backyard that just keeps gettin’ bigger every year.
Here is what I heard about how to use this Heartsteel:
- Get a bunch of Heartsteel, like seven of ’em.
- Do it early in the game, like when the sun’s just startin’ to come up.
- Fight a lot, like a rooster in a henhouse.
- Then you get somethin’ called a “cashout,” which I guess is good.
They make it sound so easy, but I bet it’s harder than it looks. Like tryin’ to thread a needle with these old eyes. But these young folks, they’re quick. They figure these things out faster than a cat can chase a mouse. This whole Heartsteel thing is like a whole new language to me.
This Heartsteel, it lets you do more of that “damage” stuff. Especially if you got those “health-scaling abilities”. It’s like addin’ more spice to your stew, makes it more potent. Or it just lets you take more hits, like a punching bag. This is good for them “teamfights,” which are big brawls in the game. A lot of these champions want this Heartsteel item. It helps them do their job better, like a good hammer helps a carpenter.
They say this Heartsteel’s got somethin’ called “Colossal Consumption”. I imagine it’s like eatin’ a whole pie in one sittin’. It does “proc damage” and “basic damage”. I ain’t sure what that means, but it sounds powerful, like a thunderstorm rollin’ in. I guess it hurts the other fellas in the game real bad.
They were sayin’ this item might get “nerfed.” I think that means they’re gonna make it weaker. Like waterin’ down your whiskey. Even if they do, though, folks are sayin’ it’ll still be good. Like a trusty old mule, it might not be as fast as it used to be, but it’ll still get the job done. People will still use it a lot. It’s popular, like them newfangled dances the kids are all doin’ these days.
All this talk about this Heartsteel. It just goes to show, things are always changin’. Even in that game world, nothin’ stays the same for long. Just like the seasons, everything’s always shiftin’ and evolvin’. Keeps things interestin’, I reckon. Just like life on the farm, always somethin’ new to learn, even for an old-timer like me. I might not understand all of it, but it is sure fun to listen to.
