This here Zidane, in that FIFA 23 game, he’s a real big shot, ain’t he? My grandson, he plays that game all day long, yelling and hollering like a stuck pig. I swear, sometimes I think he loves that game more than his old grandma. But anyway, this Zidane fella, he’s somethin’ else. He’s like one of them fancy soccer players, you know, the kind that makes all them young girls swoon. Zidane FIFA 23, that’s what my grandson keeps yelling about. He is good in FIFA 23. That’s for sure.
Heard my grandson talkin’ ’bout somethin’ called “playable highlights.” Said you can just play the good parts of the game. Shoot, back in my day, we played the whole darn thing, rain or shine, uphill both ways! But I guess these young’uns need their shortcuts. They like watch goal replays again and again. They said FIFA 23 can do that.
They got some fancy way of watchin’ these games now, too. They call it “streaming” or somethin’. All I know is, they sit there glued to that computer screen like it’s got all the answers to life’s mysteries. It seems like, in FIFA 23, they can record some videos. My grandson said he can share them with his friends. That’s good.

My grandson, he keeps goin’ on and on about this Zidane’s “card.” Sounds like some kinda baseball card, but for soccer players. Says this Zidane fella has a good one, a “94” or somethin’. Don’t ask me what that means. All I know is, the higher the number, the better the player, I reckon. High number means good. Zidane FIFA 23 card is good.
He’s tall, too, this Zidane. Says he’s over six feet! That’s a big fella. Probably good for headin’ that soccer ball. My grandson said Zidane is 185cm tall. I don’t know what is cm, but I know 6 feet is tall.
They say he played for France. That’s one of them countries over in Europe, ain’t it? Heard they got good bread over there. Maybe that’s why he’s so good, all that good bread. And he’s number 10. Number 10 is good, I think.
This FIFA 23 game, it’s got all sorts of these players, from all over the world. My grandson, he knows ’em all. Spends more time learnin’ about these soccer players than he does on his schoolwork, I swear. Kids these days, they like play FIFA 23. It is fun for them.
He showed me this one time, this Zidane fella in the game. He was runnin’ around, kickin’ that ball like it was nobody’s business. Scored a goal, too. Made my grandson jump up and down like he’d won the lottery. Zidane in FIFA 23 is good at score goals.
I asked him, “Why don’t you go outside and play some real soccer?” He just rolled his eyes at me. Said it’s not the same. Said this game is “more realistic.” Realistic? Back in my day, we didn’t need no fancy computer game to play soccer. We just needed a ball and a couple of sticks for goals.

Maybe I’ll ask my grandson to teach me how to play sometime. Show these young’uns that their old grandma still got a few tricks up her sleeve. But then again, maybe I’ll just stick to watchin’. It’s a lot less work, and I don’t have to worry about pullin’ a hamstring. This FIFA 23 Zidane is really good.
I still don’t understand all the fuss about this game, but I guess it’s what the kids are into these days. They like FIFA 23. And if it makes my grandson happy, then I’m happy too. Even if it means I gotta listen to him yellin’ about that Zidane fella all day long. He’s a good player, that Zidane. Even an old lady like me can see that. It is good that my grandson has something he likes. FIFA 23 is a good game, I think.
