That CSGO, my little grandson always plays it. He says there are many things to buy in it. That’s crazy. They call them skins, I don’t understand. He also told me there are many knives, some of them are so expensive. I said, “boy, are you kidding me?” He said no, they can be really expensive.
He showed me some pictures, oh my god, those knives look so beautiful. He said the most expensive knife can be sold for more than one million dollars. One million! That’s enough to buy a big, big house in our village, maybe two!
He calls that knife a “Karambit” or something. And it has a strange name, “Blue Gem“. Sounds like a gemstone, you know, like those shiny rocks. My grandson says it’s blue, all blue, like the sky after the rain. That must be a really pretty knife! But one million dollars? I told him, “Boy, you can buy so many real knives with that kind of money. You can open a knife shop!” He just laughed. Kids these days.
He showed me another one, says it called Bayonet | Fade. I don’t know what’s that mean. Fade? Like fade away? But he said it is also expensive, just not that crazy like the other one. He said this one is about 451 dollars. Still a lot of money for me. I mean, you can buy a lot of chickens with that money, enough to eat for a long, long time.
He kept talking about “patterns”, like it’s some kind of magic. He says the Blue Gem, the expensive one, has different patterns, and that’s why the price is different. I don’t get it. A knife is a knife, right?
He said many people want these expensive knives in CSGO. Many people! I think they’re all crazy. Why spend so much money on something you can’t even touch? If you ask me, I’d rather have a real knife, a good, strong one that can cut anything. These game knives, they’re just for show, aren’t they?
But you know, the boy likes it. He said these CSGO knives are like, collectables. Like those old stamps that old people like. I guess I can understand a little bit. When I was young, I collected some pretty stones, just because I liked them. But I never spent that much money!
Here is a list of some expensive knives he told me, but I don’t remember all, he said too many.

This world is crazy, you know? One million for a knife in a game. My grandson says it’s normal. I don’t think so. But, you know, as long as he’s happy, I guess. I told him, “Be careful with your money, boy. Don’t spend it all on these game things. Save some for a rainy day.” He just smiled and said he would. I hope he does.
These young people today, they’re always on their computers and phones. Back in my days, we played outside. We didn’t have these fancy games. But I guess times change, right?
I still don’t really understand why those CSGO knives are so expensive. Maybe it’s like those paintings, you know, the ones that rich people buy for a lot of money. I don’t understand them either, but I guess some people just like them. And if they have the money, why not, right?
My grandson told me there is a top 10 list about these knives. He wants to show me some day. Top 10! Ten knives that are so expensive. I can’t imagine. If I have that kind of money, I buy a big farm, raise many chickens and pigs. That’s a good life.
Anyway, these expensive knives in that CSGO game are something I will never fully understand. I hope my grandson will be successful, no matter he wants to buy these knives or not. He is a good boy. But one million dollars, for a knife that is not real? That’s just, wow. It’s hard to believe.
This game, CSGO, It’s a whole new world for me. It makes me feel so old. But I’m happy that my grandson enjoys it. I guess that’s all that matters, right? He said finding those expensive knives is difficult. I said, why bother? He laughed. Maybe one day I will understand. Maybe not.
I still prefer my old kitchen knife. It’s not fancy, but it works. And it didn’t cost one million dollars!
