That Foden FIFA card, my goodness, it’s the talk of the town, you know. Everyone’s going on and on about this young fella, Phil Foden, they call him. Seems like a good boy, from what I hear. This FIFA game, it’s like them old cards we used to collect, but now it’s all fancy and on the computers. Kids these days, they’re all into it, glued to their screens. They are talking about his FIFA card all day.
This Foden, he’s got a bunch of these FIFA cards, like a whole stack of ’em! One of them is worth some points, I guess that’s what they call it. The number’s real high, like a 98 or something. He must be a real good player, right? All the kids play this game all the time. They are all looking for the best FIFA card.
You see, in this game, they make up teams and play each other. They use these cards, like the Foden FIFA card, to make their teams strong. It’s like when we used to play cards down at the community hall, but way more complicated. You gotta know all these numbers and stuff. My grandson, he tries to explain it to me, but it’s all a bit much for this old brain.
They say this Foden fella, he’s on some big team, plays in front of thousands of people. Good for him, I say. Making a living doing what he loves. That’s the dream, ain’t it? Just like I have dreamed to get a high rated Foden FIFA card in this game. You know, just for fun. I do not know how to do that though.
These cards, they all have different numbers on ’em. Some are good, some are not so good. It’s like a lottery, I reckon. You never know what you’re gonna get. But that Foden FIFA card, the one with the big number, that’s the one everyone wants. It’s like finding a four-leaf clover, that one is.

You don’t need to spend a lot of money, though, from what I hear. You can still make a good team without all them fancy cards. Just gotta be smart about it, I suppose. This Foden FIFA card is what they call “Rare”. That means it is hard to get. My grandson told me that. He spends all his time looking for the rare cards.
This Foden fella, he’s not too tall, they say. But he’s quick, like a rabbit. And he can kick that ball real good. That’s what matters, ain’t it? Being good at what you do. They say he is only 171cm tall. That is not very tall. But he must be very good at playing football.
In this FIFA game, there is some kind of plus thing. I do not really get it. But it seems very good. It means this player is very good at something. If he got two plus, it means he is the best in the world. This is what I heard. It is all too hard for me to understand. But I like to watch them play it.
This whole Foden FIFA card thing, it’s a big deal, I tell ya. It’s like the new craze. Everyone’s talking about it. And this Foden fella, he’s right in the middle of it all. Good for him, I say. He seems like a nice young man. Hope he does well. Hope he keeps playing well and making people happy with his fancy footwork.
You know, back in my day, we didn’t have all this fancy technology. We just had a ball and a field. And we made our own fun. But times change, I suppose. And these kids, they seem to enjoy this FIFA game. So who am I to judge? As long as they’re happy, that’s all that matters, right?
I still don’t understand all these FIFA card things, though. Too many numbers, too many rules. But I like watching the young’uns play. It brings a smile to my face. And that Foden FIFA card, well, it seems to make them real happy. So that’s a good thing, ain’t it? A real good thing. I think I will try to learn it and maybe one day I can play with them. That will be a lot of fun.
