Well, let me tell you, this Cyberpunk 2077 thing, it’s a real head-scratcher. All these young folks talkin’ ’bout it, I just nod along. But this one thing, this Jefferson fella, that’s got me thinkin’. Cyberpunk 2077 should I tell Jefferson? That’s what everyone’s askin’, and it ain’t simple, no sir.
This Jefferson, he’s in a real pickle. Some folks messed with his head, you see? Like, real bad. Now he don’t know what’s real and what ain’t. And you gotta decide if you’re gonna tell him the truth or not. Tough choice, lemme tell ya. It’s like deciding if you’re gonna tell your neighbor their prize-winning hog got loose. Do you tell ’em straight, or do you let ’em find out the hard way?

If you tell this Jefferson the truth in Cyberpunk 2077, well, he’s gonna be a nervous wreck. Like a chicken with its head cut off, runnin’ around scared of his own shadow. He will be paranoid for the rest of his life, that’s for sure. He won’t trust nobody, not even his own wife. They say it destroys his marriage, too. Imagine that, your marriage goin’ down the drain ’cause of some fancy computer trickery. Sounds like a mess to me.
But then, if you don’t tell him, if you let him live in that dream world, he might become mayor. Lying let’s him be the mayor. Sounds good, right? Except he won’t really be himself. It’s like he’s a puppet on a string, and someone else is pullin’ the strings. He won’t be makin’ his own choices, won’t be thinkin’ his own thoughts. That ain’t no way to live, is it?
No matter what option you choose, Jefferson is fucked. I heard one of these young’uns say that, and it stuck with me. It is really true. Poor Jefferson, no matter what you choose, it ain’t gonna be easy for him. Like that time my old mule, Bessie, got stuck in the mud. No matter which way we pulled her, it was gonna be a struggle.
- Tell him the truth: He’s a mess, can’t trust nobody.
- Don’t tell him: He’s a puppet, not really livin’.
Some folks say there’s a fella named Holt, and you can blame it all on him. Makes Jefferson feel a little better, they say. Like he figured it out all by himself. Painting Holt as the suspect might be the kind thing to do. Then he can have some peace. This is what the Peralezes want to hear. Or you can say the police are coverin’ it up. That seems to make them happy too. If you choose the NCPD coverup, this seems to put the Peralezes’ minds at ease. I don’t know much about the police, but I know coverin’ up things never ends well.
But here’s the real kicker, they say it don’t really matter what you choose. Yeah, you heard me right. All this worryin’, all this frettin’, and it all ends up the same way. Whatever you say, things will play out in exactly the same way. Like plantin’ corn in the spring, no matter if you use a mule or one of them fancy tractors, you’re still gonna get corn in the fall.
So, what’s a body to do? Well, I reckon you just gotta go with your gut. What feels right in your heart? Do you wanna see a man live a lie, even if it’s a happy one? Or do you wanna see him face the truth, even if it breaks him? There ain’t no easy answers in Cyberpunk 2077, or in life, for that matter. Cyberpunk 2077 should I tell Jefferson? I don’t know the answer.
This whole thing reminds me of that time I had to decide whether to sell my old cow, Betsy. She wasn’t givin’ much milk anymore, but she was a good old cow. Tough choice, just like this Jefferson business. You just gotta do what you think is best, and hope for the best.
Maybe they’ll make it matter more later, who knows? These computer games, they’re always changin’. Like the weather, you never know what’s comin’ next. Suspect DLC will change that a bit. They are always addin’ new things. I just hope for Jefferson he can find some peace, one way or another.
