That Kirby, he is a little pink ball, right? And that Waddle Dee, he is always around, ain’t he? They got this thing, this Kirby Cafe. Sounds fancy, but I bet it’s just regular food with pink frosting. They call one place Waddle Dee Cafe, like he’s running the joint.
So, this Kirby Cafe, I hear it’s in Japan. We ain’t never going to Japan. Too far. They got two big ones, one in Tok-yo and one in Ha-ka-ta. Don’t know where them places is, but they sound far. They’re permanent, whatever that means. Probably means they ain’t going nowhere. Good for them, I reckon.

They sell all sorts of stuff with Kirby on it. Pink stuff, I bet. My grandson, he’d love it. He likes them video games. Me, I don’t understand all that. But if it makes him happy, that’s all that matters, you know?
Now, this Waddle Dee, he’s like Kirby’s little helper or something. They got him working in the cafe, I guess. They say you gotta spend some coins, Star Coins they call ’em, to get a little statue of him. 300 of them things! That’s a lot of coins. Probably costs a fortune.
- Kirby Cafe is in Japan.
- Two big ones in Tokyo and Hakata.
- They sell Kirby stuff there.
- Waddle Dee works there, I guess.
- You need 300 Star Coins for a Waddle Dee statue.
I seen a picture of that Waddle Dee in the cafe. He’s looking for something, that picture says. Probably looking for more customers to spend their money. That’s what businesses do, ain’t it? Always looking for more money.
They say Waddle Dee Cafe needs help. “Help Wanted” they say. I guess that little fella can’t do it all by himself. Maybe they need someone to wash dishes or sweep the floor. Or maybe they need someone to tell them to stop charging so much for pink frosting!
Imagine, a whole cafe about that Kirby. He must be something special to have all that fuss about him. I just think he looks like a pink marshmallow. But what do I know? I’m just an old lady who likes her peace and quiet. These young folks with their video games and their Kirby Cafes…it’s all a bit much for me.
If you’re ever in Japan, and you see that Kirby Cafe, you tell that Waddle Dee I said hello. And tell him to be careful. Running a cafe is hard work. Especially when you gotta look for things all the time. He should keep his eyes peeled, that little Waddle Dee. And he should watch his money, too. 300 Star Coins for a statue! That’s highway robbery, I tell ya!
They make all sorts of food, I hear. Kirby-themed, they say. Probably means it’s pink. Pink burgers, pink pasta, pink everything. Sounds a little strange to me, but I guess some folks like that sort of thing. I’ll stick to my regular food, thank you very much.
This whole Waddle Dee Cafe thing, its like one big game, you know? You spend those Star Coins, you get a prize. The prize is a little Waddle Dee. Reminds me of them claw machines at the fair. You put your money in, try to grab a toy. Most times you get nothing. I bet these Star Coins are the same way.
I guess this Kirby Cafe, with that Waddle Dee fellow, is for the fans. The folks who really love that little pink ball. They go there, spend their money, get their Kirby stuff. That’s nice. Everyone needs something to be happy about, I reckon. Even if it is a little pink ball and his friend, Waddle Dee, workin’ in a cafe. I suppose you gotta have those coins to get the little figure of the guy. Three hundred is a lot, you ask me. I remember when you could get a good candy bar for a nickel!
I hear some folks really like those Waddle Dees. They collect them, I guess. Like stamps or coins. Everyone’s got their thing. Mine is my garden. I grow the best tomatoes you ever tasted. No Kirby Cafe can beat that, I tell ya. That Waddle Dee, he should try one. Maybe it’ll give him some energy to run that cafe. Or maybe it’ll make him stop looking for whatever he’s looking for and just sit down and have a good meal. You know I hear its hard work at that Kirby Cafe Waddle Dee is always busy. They even have a sign that says “Waddle Dee Cafe: Help Wanted”. If you need help you must be busy.
