Well, let me tell ya, this here F1 racing in Saudi Arabia, it’s somethin’ else. Folks call it the Saudi Arabia F1 24 setup, or somethin’ fancy like that. But to me, it’s just a bunch of fast cars goin’ ’round and ’round a track.
Now, I ain’t no expert, mind you. I’m just a regular person, like you. But I hear things, you know? People talk. And they say this race is a big deal. Lots of folks comin’ from all over, just to watch these cars zoom by. It’s a real spectacle, they say.

They got this thing called “arrival registration” they gotta do. Sounds complicated, but it ain’t. Seems like the government wants to know who’s comin’ into the country, especially with all that “Corona pandemic” stuff they was talkin’ about. They got this website, Muqeem somethin’ or other, where ya gotta put in your information. Vaccine stuff too, I reckon.
Now, I heard some folks sayin’ they don’t need all that anymore. Said Saudi Arabia done got rid of them COVID rules. But then I heard others sayin’ you still gotta give ’em your details, just in case. So, I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry, right? Do what they tell ya, and you won’t have no trouble.
- First, you go to that Muqeem website.
- Then, you gotta register your arrival. Tell ’em when you’re comin’ and all that.
- And don’t forget your vaccine information, if they ask for it.
It’s kinda like when you go visit your relatives out of state, and you gotta tell ’em when you’re arrivin’ so they can have the spare bedroom ready. Same kinda deal, just with a fancy website and all.
And gettin’ a visa, that’s another thing. Seems like they got this “eVisa” thing now. Makes it easier, I guess. You can apply online, no need to go standin’ in line at some embassy. They say it’s just three steps, easy as pie. Well, pie ain’t always easy, but you get the idea.
They want you to come and see the “warm hospitality of Saudi people” and the “rich heritage.” That sounds nice, don’t it? I reckon they want folks to come and spend their money, too. That’s how it works everywhere, ain’t it?
Now, if you’re gonna be stayin’ for a while, they got this other website called Absher. It’s like your one-stop shop for all sorts of government stuff. You gotta register there, too. It’s like gettin’ a library card, only it’s for the whole country. You need it for all sorts of things, they say. Payin’ bills, gettin’ your driver’s license, all that jazz.
So, you wanna go see this F1 race, you gotta do a little bit of homework. Get your registration done, get your visa sorted out, and make sure you’re followin’ all the rules. It ain’t rocket science, but it’s important.
And don’t forget, this race is happenin’ on September 16, 2024. That’s what I heard, anyway. Mark your calendars, if you’re into that kinda thing. Me, I’ll probably be watchin’ it on TV, if I can figure out how to turn the darn thing on. These newfangled gadgets are too much for an old woman like me.
They say it’s an “e-service” to register and update your health status. Well, I ain’t got no computer, so I guess I’ll have to get my grandson to help me with that. He’s good with them computers. Always clickin’ and tappin’ away. Kids these days, they know more about these things than we ever did.
This General Authority of Civil Aviation, they make the rules, I guess. They tell you what you gotta do, and you gotta do it. That’s how it works, ain’t it? Like when the preacher tells you to tithe, you gotta tithe. Otherwise, you’ll be in hot water.

So, there you have it. My take on this Saudi Arabia F1 24 setup. It’s a big race, lots of people comin’, lots of rules to follow. But if you do what you’re supposed to, you’ll be alright. And who knows, maybe you’ll even have a good time watchin’ them cars go ’round and ’round.
Just remember to register, get your visa, and don’t cause no trouble. And maybe bring a hat, cause I hear it gets mighty hot out there in the desert. That sun can be a real scorcher.
