Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Galarian Rapidash in Pokémon Go. Now, I ain’t no expert, but I know a thing or two ‘bout this critter. It’s a mighty fine one, that’s for sure. Galarian Rapidash, ya see, it ain’t your regular kind of Rapidash. It’s got a special twist to it. It’s a Fairy and Psychic-type Pokémon. Pretty fancy, right? But don’t let that fool ya, it’s got its own set of problems too. It’s weak to Poison, so watch out for that.
So, if you’re wonderin’ how to get your hands on a Galarian Rapidash, here’s the deal. You can’t just find it out there in the wild like most Pokémon. No, sir. This one comes from Galarian Ponyta. Yep, ya gotta evolve that little one into the mighty Galarian Rapidash. It takes 50 Galarian Ponyta candies, so ya better be ready to catch a whole bunch of them little critters if ya want one of these big ones. Galarian Ponyta ain’t too hard to find, but it’s always good to keep an eye out for events, ‘cause that’s when you’ll get more chances to catch ‘em faster.

Now, I’m sure you’re curious about what this Galarian Rapidash can do in battle. Well, it’s got a few tricks up its sleeve. It’s got three Fast Attacks that it can use. There’s Low Kick, Psycho Cut, and Fairy Wind. Each of ‘em works in their own way. Low Kick is good for dealing with Fighting-types, Psycho Cut’s for Psychic-types, and Fairy Wind… well, that one’s just special. It helps Galarian Rapidash take down all sorts of foes, especially those pesky Dragon-types.
But here’s where it gets interesting. The best moveset for Galarian Rapidash in Trainer Battles is Fairy Wind as the Fast Attack. Then, you can load up on some Charged Attacks like Body Slam and Wild Charge. These moves work well together, giving you a good balance of offense and defense. That Wild Charge can really knock some Pokémon out, and Body Slam’s just quick and dirty. You want that speed when you’re in the heat of battle.
Now, if you’re out there takin’ down Gym Pokémon, you might want to switch things up a bit. The best moveset for that is Fire Spin and Fire Blast. Yeah, I know it sounds odd, but Fire Spin’s great for buildin’ up energy real quick, and Fire Blast packs one heck of a punch when you let it loose. It’s a real powerful combo when you’re up against those big bad Gyms.
But not all’s rosy with Galarian Rapidash, no sir. It’s got its fair share of weaknesses, and ya need to know what you’re up against. See, even though it’s a Fairy and Psychic-type, its Fairy side covers up some of the usual Psychic-type weaknesses. Normally, Psychic-types get knocked around by Dark and Bug, but not Galarian Rapidash. However, it’s still weak to Ghost and Poison-types. So, you gotta be careful when you face those kinds of Pokémon in battle.
Now, let me tell ya a little secret if ya want to counter Galarian Rapidash. You’ll want to bring out the big guns. Pokémon like Necrozma – Dusk Mane, Necrozma – Dawn Wings, and Mega Gengar will give Galarian Rapidash a real run for its money. Shadow Metagross is another one you can use, and they’ll take this Fairy-Psychic creature down in no time.
One thing to keep in mind is that Galarian Rapidash joined Pokémon Go during the Crown Tundra event back in October 2020. It was a big deal, and people got all excited ‘bout it. But now, it’s just another Pokémon you gotta work for if you want it on your team.
So, in the end, Galarian Rapidash is a real beauty. It’s a strong fighter in its own right, but it’s got its weaknesses like any other Pokémon. If you want to make the most of it, you gotta know your moves and what works best in each situation. So, good luck out there, and don’t forget to catch ‘em all!
