Okay, so today I jumped back into Nexus Blitz, and man, it’s been a while! I decided to lock in Master Yi, because, well, who doesn’t love a good Wuju beatdown?
First thing I did was check out the recommended item builds. I kinda ignored them, to be honest. I’ve played enough Yi to know what feels right. I went with the usual on-hit build.

The Game Begins!
I started the game, you know, farming up a storm in the jungle. Nexus Blitz is so fast-paced, you gotta get those items quick. I focused on getting my core – Blade of the Ruined King, and Guinsoo’s Rageblade.
The early game was a bit of a back-and-forth. Their team had a pretty strong poke comp, so I had to be careful about engaging. I focused on power farming and looking for opportunities when they overextended. A few successful ganks later, and I was starting to feel the power spike.
Mid-Game Mayhem
Mid-game is where Master Yi really starts to shine in Nexus Blitz, especially with those quick skirmishes. I made sure to be around for the objectives – the map is small, so you can rotate super fast. I remember one fight where I got a triple kill just by popping Alpha Strike at the right time and letting the on-hit damage do its work.
- Remember kids: Alpha Strike is your best friend. Use it to dodge skill shots, close the gap, and just generally wreak havoc.
- Focus on getting to the backline and destroy the enemy.
Late Game Dominance
Once I got my core items, plus a Wit’s End for some magic resist and even more attack speed, I was basically unstoppable. We had a few close calls, but my damage output was just insane. We won several key team fights by focusing down their carries.
Wrap up.
I ended the game feeling pretty good. Master Yi in Nexus Blitz is a blast when you can get rolling. The key is to play smart, farm efficiently, and capitalize on those small-scale fights. And most importantly, always remember to Wuju style!
