Okay, so I’ve been on this mission to collect every single Prestige skin in League of Legends. It’s been a grind, to say the least, but also kinda fun in a masochistic sort of way. Let me tell you how it all started, and, man, it’s a bit of a story.
The Beginning of the Obsession
It all kicked off with Prestige Blood Moon Aatrox. I saw it, I wanted it, I had to have it. I’d played a fair bit of League before, but this skin…this skin was different. It just looked so damn cool. So, I started looking into how to actually get these things.
At first, I was completely lost. Event Tokens? Prestige Points? What was the difference? I spent a good few hours just reading forum posts and watching YouTube videos. It felt like learning a whole new language, seriously. The basic gist, I figured out, was that you could get Prestige skins in two main ways: through event passes or by saving up Prestige Points.
The Grind Commences
My first attempt was with an event pass. I can’t even remember which event it was, but I remember buying the pass and feeling this mix of excitement and dread. Excitement because I was on my way to a Prestige skin, dread because I knew I was in for a LOT of games.
And oh boy, was I right. I played League. And played. And played some more. I think I saw Summoner’s Rift in my sleep. I grinded through missions, focused on objectives, and basically tried to be the best teammate I could be (most of the time, anyway – we all have those games, right?). Slowly but surely, I started racking up those event tokens.

The Prestige Point Path
After geting my token, I started to get my prestige point.
The Prestige Point route was a different beast altogether. These points were rarer, and you had to be super patient. I saved up my points from various events and Masterwork Chests. I can recall I have waited a long time to collect enough points to unlock a skin, but the final result is satisfying.
The Collection Grows (and Grows…and Grows…)
Slowly, one by one, I started adding Prestige skins to my collection. Every time I unlocked one, I felt this huge rush of accomplishment. It was like, “Yeah, I did that! I put in the time, and now I have this awesome, shiny thing to show for it!”
It’s still ongoing. I haven’t got all of them yet, but I’m getting there. It’s become this weird little hobby within a hobby. Sometimes I question my sanity, especially after a particularly grueling day of grinding, but then I look at my collection and…well, it’s pretty cool. No regrets (yet!).
