Okay, so I’ve been looking to upgrade my basketball gear for a while, and I heard Black Friday was the time to do it. I started by checking out some of the big sports stores online, you know, the usual suspects.
I opened like a million tabs – seriously, my browser was crying. I was comparing prices on shoes, jerseys, basketballs, everything. It was a bit overwhelming at first, to be honest.

My Hunting Process
- Made a List: First, I wrote down everything I actually needed, so I wouldn’t get distracted by shiny things.
- Set Price Alerts: I found a few websites that let you set price alerts, so I did that for some of the pricier items.
- Checked Social Media: I followed a bunch of sports brands on social media because they sometimes announce flash sales there.
- Compare and Contrast I compared serveral websites to get a best deals.
I spent a good few hours just browsing and comparing. It’s kinda tiring, but you gotta do what you gotta do for a good deal, right?
I finally narrowed it down to a few items. The best deals seemed to be on shoes and some training gear. I ended up ordering a new pair of basketball shoes that were like 40% off – score! And I also grabbed some compression shorts that were on sale.
Overall, I’d say it was a successful mission. I saved a decent amount of money, and I got some new gear to up my game. Black Friday shopping can be a bit chaotic, but if you’re prepared and patient, you can definitely find some great deals.
