Alright, so I decided to jump on the Helldivers 2 hype train early and snag that pre-order. I mean, who doesn’t want those sweet bonus goodies, right? Here’s how the whole thing went down, step by step.
Getting Started
First things first, I headed over to where they were selling the game. I already knew I wanted it, so no need for window shopping. I made sure I was on the right page for the pre-order, the one that mentioned all the extra stuff.
Making the Purchase
Once I was sure, I clicked on that big ol’ “Pre-Purchase” button. It took me to the usual checkout page, where I filled in my payment details. You know, the boring stuff like card number, expiry date, and all that jazz. Double-checked everything, because nobody wants to mess that up.
The Waiting Game
After hitting “Confirm Purchase”, I got that little spinning wheel of anticipation. It felt like forever, but probably only took a few seconds. Then, bam! Confirmation screen. Checked my email, and yep, there it was – the receipt and everything.
Finding the Key
Now, this is where it got a tiny bit tricky. I wasn’t sure exactly where to find the Steam key for the pre-order bonuses. So, I dug around my account details on the store.
