Okay, here’s my attempt at writing a blog post in the style you requested, focusing on leveling Blacksmithing in Dragonflight:
Alright, so I decided to finally get my Blacksmithing leveled up in Dragonflight. I’d been putting it off, like, forever, but I really wanted those crafted gear pieces. Figured it was time to bite the bullet and just… do it.

Getting Started (Ugh)
First thing I did was head back to the main city, you know, Valdrakken. Found the Blacksmithing trainer, and… well, it was pretty overwhelming. There are like, a MILLION new recipes. And all these new materials! Seriously, it’s a lot.
I spent a good chunk of time just clicking through the trainer’s window, trying to get a handle on things. Not gonna lie, it was a bit of a blur. I kinda just picked a few basic recipes that looked… doable. You know, the ones that didn’t require, like, a thousand weird ingredients.
Gathering Stuff (The Grind Begins)
So, I started with mining. Lots and lots of mining. I flew around the Dragon Isles, just hitting every ore node I could find. My bags filled up fast. It wasn’t glamorous, but hey, it’s part of the process, right?
I mainly focused on:
- Serevite Ore – This seemed to be the most common, and I needed a TON of it.
- Draconium Ore – A bit rarer, but also needed for some of the better recipes.
I also made sure to grab any of those “special” mining nodes, the ones that give you extra stuff. Every little bit helps, especially when you’re starting out.
Crafting (Finally!)
Once I had a decent stash of ore, I headed back to the anvil. I started by smelting everything into bars. That’s always the first step, right? Then, I just started crafting. And crafting. And crafting. I made a bunch of those basic armor pieces, even though I didn’t need them. It’s all about those skill points!
I found that focusing on a few key recipes, and just making them over and over, was the easiest way to level up. It’s repetitive, sure, but it gets the job done. I also made sure to check the trainer regularly for new recipes. You don’t want to miss out on any easy skill-ups.
Getting There (Slowly But Surely)
It took a while, no doubt about it. It was a grind, plain and simple. But I eventually got my Blacksmithing up to a decent level. I can now craft some pretty sweet gear, and it feels good to have finally tackled it. It was worth it!
If you’re thinking about leveling your Blacksmithing, my advice is: be patient. It takes time. And gather everything you can. You’re gonna need it. Good luck, and have fun! (Or, you know, try to have fun amidst the mining…)
