Alright, so I wanted to figure out this whole trade request thing in MLB The Show 24. I’d heard some chatter online, but I wanted to see it for myself, step-by-step. So, I fired up the game and got to work.
Getting Started
First, I hopped into “Road to the Show” mode. That’s where you create your own player and try to make it to the big leagues, right? Figured that’s where the trade request option would be hiding.

Checking Things Out
I played through a bunch of games, did some training, you know, the usual grind. I was keeping an eye out everywhere, in all the menus. But for a while, I couldn’t find anything.
Making Progress
Then after playing some more, I started thinking, maybe I need to improve my player overall rating to get attention from the managers.
I did see my agent send me messages about other teams, that seems like a good signal for me.
The moment of truth
Eventually, I figured I’d try talking to my agent, see if he had any ideas.I went into my agent’s menu. Boom! there it was, plain as day – “Request a Trade”.
So I clicked it, and that’s it. I’d made my trade request.
It feels like you gotta put in some work, get your player noticed, and then that trade option shows up, which makes some kind of logic sense.
