Alright guys, let’s dive into my little adventure with catching those December sea creatures in Animal Crossing. I gotta say, it was a bit of a mixed bag, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
Getting Started
First things first, I made sure my wetsuit was on. Can’t go diving without it! I then ran to the beach, my flippers flapping against the sand. The ocean looked so inviting, even in the chilly December weather (in-game, of course!).

The Hunt Begins!
I plunged into the water and started swimming around. I was mostly looking for those fast-moving shadows – gotta be quick to catch those rare ones!
- The first few dives were pretty standard. I found some Sea Grapes, Seaweed, and a few Oysters. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.
- Then, I spotted a really fast shadow! I chased it down, my fingers mashing the A button, and… got it! It was a Sea Pig. Okay, cool, a new one for the museum!
Some Ups and Downs
I kept diving, hoping to find a Gigas Giant Clam, but no luck. I did manage to snag a few more cool things, like a Spider Crab and some Seaweed. Found, like, 5 of them in a row.
There were a few times where I messed up. Like, I chased this one shadow for ages, only to realize it was just a common Sea Star. Facepalm moment, for sure.
Wrapping It Up
After about an hour of diving, I decided to call it quits. I swam back to shore, my pockets (somehow) full of sea creatures. I ran to the museum and proudly donated my new finds to Blathers. He always has something interesting to say, even if it’s about a boring old Seaweed.
Overall, it was a pretty successful diving session. I didn’t get everything I wanted, but that’s okay. There’s always tomorrow, right? Plus, it’s just relaxing to swim around and explore the ocean, even if you’re just catching the same old stuff. At the end of the day I got my Sea Pig.
